Flint allowed his best friend to watch the meteor shower at his house. He had a telescope, so this time he let his best friend use it to his heart's content. Still in a bad mood from attending Star Group's anniversary party, he needed his best friend to keep him company until he calmed down.
While waiting for the meteor shower, he let his best friend prepare various snacks for them later. Seeing his best friend now in pastel pink pajamas, the corners of his lips unconsciously lifted. All he could do was adjust his telescope while gazing at her increasingly adorable friend as she arranged chocolate chip cookies on a plate.
"By the way, didn't you eat quite a lot of cookies earlier?" he asked mockingly.
"I think watching a meteor shower should be accompanied by something sweet. It makes the experience even sweeter and more meaningful." Ellen patted the empty chair next to her for a moment. "Aren't you going to sit? Haven't you finished adjusting your telescope yet?"
