Flint clenched his fists tightly as he glared at the receptionist. He hoped the bouquet of roses hadn't come from Bastian, intended for Ellen. If Bastian had, he wouldn't approve the proposed marketing event at the Grand Mall. He struggled to control his anger, as he had always acted like a professional CEO during work hours.
Meanwhile, Ellen was very curious about whether the bouquet was intended for her or for one of her team members. She found it impossible for the cold-hearted CEO to suddenly send her a bouquet of roses after her kiss was rejected just days ago.
"If I may ask, is there a sender's name?" she asked softly.
The receptionist immediately read a greeting card tucked inside the bouquet of roses. "Oh, it has the recipient's name!"
"What was the recipient's name?" Flint asked sharply.
"Janice Lim."
