Flint still felt something was off about Lucas' sudden change in behavior. Lucas had always followed David wherever he went or readily complied with David's wishes. Now, however, Lucas was suddenly trying to betray David. On the one hand, Flint feared this was just a trap set by David to lure him in.
"So, what are you going to do now, Flint?" Alfonso asked softly.
Flint remained silent. He extended his right hand to Lucas. "Hand me that flash drive if you have any real proof of my father's death."
Alfonso's eyes widened. "Flint! Aren't you a little too quick to believe him without even hearing his explanation first?"
Lucas lifted the corner of his lips. "You really are quite reckless, Flint."
Flint smiled a sly smile. "I'm not stupid or reckless. I just wanted to test you."
"Testing me?"
"If you were really planning to betray me, why would you approach me in a public place like this? Especially since there are CCTV cameras installed in every corner."
