"Ide. Indecent assault. Detained for one month."

The Vice Warden of BLACK VOX recorded the name Gildarts gave into the small notebook in his hand as he spoke.

"Pfft."

Gildarts held it in for a long time, but he really couldn't hold it back any longer and finally burst out laughing.

Gildarts: "I've undergone professional training. I generally don't laugh unless I can't help it."

"Still laughing?!"

"Extended by two months."

The Vice Warden was stunned. It was the first time he had seen a criminal who was already locked up in prison still able to laugh out loud. In a fit of anger, he added another two months to Gildarts' sentence.

"Alright."

"My prey should be inside this prison."

Gildarts forcibly suppressed his laughter. His gaze glanced toward the pitch-black boxes floating in the sky one after another, a trace of killing intent in his eyes.

Yes, the reason Gildarts had deliberately infiltrated the great wizard prison BLACK VOX was precisely to deal with a certain criminal imprisoned here.

"Hum."

Just as Gildarts was thinking this, his body was immediately wrapped in pitch-black light. Finally, he was locked into a pitch-black single-cell box and sent into the sky, becoming one of the sky-filling black cubes.

Indeed, every black cube in the sky held a heinous criminal.

Gildarts' mission for this trip was to find the black cube where his target was imprisoned within these three months.

On the other side.

Ide and Gray, having shaken off the pursuit of the Magic Council ERA, were walking slowly on the snowy mountain.

"Teacher."

"It's so cold here."

Gray stood in front of Ide, shivering as he spoke.

"Gray, if you want to become a qualified wizard, the first thing you have to do is withstand the cold."

Saying this, Ide took off all his clothes, letting the ice and snow hit his body, and said with a chuckle.

"Eh?!"

"Take off my clothes?"

Gray was stunned. He couldn't imagine what it would feel like to take off his clothes in this freezing weather?!

"Gray, don't you want to learn magic?"

Ide asked Gray in return.

"I do."

Gray nodded vigorously and took off his clothes.

"Achoo."

The cold air on the snowy mountain made Gray sneeze repeatedly. His small face turned red as soon as the cold wind blew on it, and he felt terrible all over.

"Gray, now close your eyes. Try your best to feel the magic particles in the air. Use your mental power to guide them into your body, and let your body remember this feeling."

Ide continued to guide Gray in cultivating magic.

Of course, Ide simply re-taught Gray the exact same method Ur had taught him back then.

"Feel the magic particles, guide them into the body."

Under Ide's guidance, Gray's tense expression gradually relaxed. He dedicated himself to feeling the magic particles in the atmosphere. He didn't know if it was an illusion, but he actually felt that the air wasn't so cold anymore?!

Time passed minute by minute.

Before the sky turned dark, bursts of milky white light finally lit up on the surface of Gray's body.

"He did it."

When Ide saw this scene, he immediately smiled.

At the same time, Ide thought to himself, "As expected, Ur is a genius in Ice-Make Magic! As long as one cultivates according to Ur's method, they can quickly grasp the knack of Ice Attribute Magic."

"Teacher Ide, I can feel the magic power."

After meditating, Gray suddenly opened his eyes and said happily to Ide.

"Very good."

Ide smiled and continued, "Next, start constructing a shape that belongs to you."

"A shape that belongs to me?!"

Gray looked up at Ide with a puzzled expression, seemingly not understanding Ide's meaning.

"Make Magic is free. It's like plasticine."

"Everyone's shape can be unique."

"What shape you want to mold the ice into depends entirely on your own thoughts."

Ide explained his understanding of Make Magic to Gray.

"I see."

While nodding slightly, Gray began to ponder his own Make Magic.

About an hour later, mimicking Ide, Gray assumed the stance for Make Magic and said, "Ice-Make: Lance!"

"BOOM!"

As Gray's voice fell, a lance made of ice immediately pierced through a pine tree standing in the snow not far away.

"Not bad, Gray."

"You have now officially entered the door."

Ide looked at the large tree pierced by the ice lance, inexplicably feeling a sense of déjà vu from when he first learned Make Magic.

Ideally, he had to admit that this kid Gray was really quite similar to him.

Whether in personality or in the comprehension of Make Magic.

"Really?"

"Then can we go to the wizard guild Fairy Tail now?"

After mastering Make Magic, Gray asked Ide eagerly.

He had heard from Ide that in the wizard guild Fairy Tail, countless wizards lived and worked there.

Among them, there were quite a few existences his age who could study and communicate with him.

"No rush."

"Before going to the Fairy Tail guild, we have more important things to do."

Ide smiled and shook his head at Gray. After speaking, he continued on his way with Gray.

Nade Village.

The village where Ide and Ur once lived.

"Where is this?"

Gray followed Ide's footsteps to Nade Village with a confused face. He didn't seem to understand why Ide wanted to come to this village.

"You are? Ide————"

Not long after Ide brought Gray into the village, an old man in the village immediately recognized Ide's identity. He shouted excitedly, "It's Ide! Ide is back! Ide has come to help us eliminate Deliora."

"Ide is back?!"

The owner of the fruit shop in town, who was also Ur's best friend Susan, upon hearing that Ide had returned to town, didn't even care about the fruit shop anymore and rushed over immediately.

When Susan saw Ide, she said excitedly, "Ide, you're finally back! Where is Ur? Did she not come back with you? Are you confident in dealing with Deliora all by yourself?!"

"Deliora? I casually took care of that guy before coming here."

Regarding this, Ide said with a chuckle.

"?"

As Ide's voice fell, all the townsfolk present showed shocked expressions, looking at Ide in disbelief.

Among them, Susan opened her mouth wide in shock and said, "Ide, just how much stronger have you become since you and Ur left the town?"

"I could probably beat the old me to a pulp, I guess?"

Ide crossed his arms in front of him and said triumphantly.
