Chapter 140 - Chapter 53: Zeus's Choice and the Beginning of the Holy War

'Yamete, please let me go!'

On a small training ground, two figures, one large and one small, were chasing each other. The smaller figure occasionally let out a mournful cry for help, but it was ignored by the person behind her.

'Your body is too weak now; you must exercise.'

This was the first thing Liang heard when she woke up. Then, she was dragged to this small training ground and trained by Nasha until she almost vomited blood. But the nightmare was still to come.

'What? You want me to spar with you? Impossible, I'll definitely be miserably abused.'

Liang had a 'dead father' expression, looking at the wooden sword Nasha handed her. Sparring with this person wasn't training at all; it was just asking for abuse. Liang was not a masochist, and besides, Nasha, this beauty, was not to her taste at all. If Zeus were to come, she would probably faint from happiness; that would be her greatest honor.

'If you can't dodge my attacks, how will you protect Princess from enemies stronger than me?'

Nasha looked at Liang's performance with disdain. She had undergone hellish training ten times more brutal than this since childhood. She was even younger than Liang, who now looked only twelve, at the time. She had endured so much training without a sound or a tear, achieving her current results. Liang simply couldn't compare to Nasha, neither in talent nor in willpower.

She was now a little doubtful of Zeus's decision. How could such a fool be competent enough for the job of a maid? Liang's current performance made her very dissatisfied. Not to mention her physical fitness, even her willpower was so poor. She truly didn't know how she managed to survive until now, almost starving to death, before being picked up by the Princess. It was simply incomprehensible.

'That's right, I still need to fight for the ownership of the goddess, I can't be lazy anymore.'

Suddenly awakened by Nasha's words, Liang's heart began to feel a trace of gratitude towards this 'demon in woman's skin' in front of her. Thank her for scolding her awake. The oath she had made was forgotten so quickly. It seemed the influence of living in peaceful times had made the lazy sapling grow strong long ago. If such a big event as transmigration hadn't happened, she would probably still be at home, glued to her phone, ordering takeout, and continuing her hermit life.

'Please continue!'

Liang's eyes became firm at that moment, which brought a wave of relief to Nasha, who had been observing her changes. It seemed there was still hope.

'Then, I won't hold back.'

'Bring it on!'

'Ah~!'

As their words ended, a series of tragic screams echoed through the training ground.

'Uh~! Now I'm really a pig's head.'

Zeus happily watched from the corner; Liang's pitiful appearance right now was simply too hilarious.

"This is all I can help with."

Zeus flipped through the Magic Tower Certification she had painstakingly wheedled from the Queen. She needed to stay inside for five or six years now. As for Liang's education, Zeus had already given instructions to Nasha. The rest was up to you, Liang.

Thinking this, Zeus turned and walked out of the training ground, arriving at the palace gates. There, 'Father King', the Queen, and her two older sisters were seeing Zeus off. After bidding farewell one by one, Zeus began her journey. Liang had no idea that his beloved 'Goddess' was no longer in the castle.

"Exactly, what do I need to do? Hades."

The alliance of five had slightly improved their isolated situation, but they all knew that their current strength was far from enough. Their grandmother had the powerful card of the Twelve Titans under her command. They, on the other hand, were still solitary, with few followers, completely unable to contend with their grandmother's casual gesture. The situation was simply too dire.

"Do you know about the new life forms that have appeared on earth?"

Without answering Hera, Hades spoke to the four about another matter.

"Hmm! They're a miraculous creature called 'humans,' right! They have the same appearance as us."

Poseidon thought for a moment and then explained her understanding of the situation. The first time she saw these creatures, she was very surprised. She wondered which god had such a perverse interest to create creatures that even gods found astonishing, and based on the appearance of gods no less. Poseidon even thought it was some prank-loving god playing a trick on her.

"Yes! Don't you also feel a very familiar aura from these creatures?"

Hades expressed her feelings, which made Demeter, the fourth sister, nod in agreement. She had also encountered humans, and her impression of them was very good, so she had left blessings for them at the time. But upon closer reflection, the feeling of seeing humans was somewhat similar to the feeling she had when seeing Zeus.

"Could it be!? How is that possible?"

As if suddenly realizing something, Demeter stood up in shock, her face full of disbelief.

"What's wrong, Demeter? Is it that time of the month?"

Hera, startled, said to Demeter with dissatisfaction.

"Don't interrupt her thoughts. Demeter, tell us what you're thinking."

Hades glared at the displeased Hera, instantly silencing her. Then, she calmly spoke to Demeter, who had not yet recovered from her shock. Hades's gentleness could only ever belong to Zeus alone.

"I… I'm thinking, could that creature called 'human' be, could it be created by Zeus?"

Demeter stammered out her thoughts, which astonished the three (no, not including Hades). If these creatures were indeed created by Zeus, then they had an obligation to help their lovely younger sister.

"But this information isn't enough to help us find Zeus-chan!"

Hera, recovering from her excitement, instantly slumped onto the table, looking deflated.

"No, if it were just for this, Big Sister wouldn't pay such close attention. So, Big Sister, what are your plans?"

At this moment, Poseidon calmed down and analyzed the situation. She didn't believe that the very intelligent eldest sister would only have this little information.

"From today onwards, you will go and interact with humans, teach them, guide them. I see a glimmer of hope in the creatures created by our adorable younger sister."

"I don't know how our younger sister created them, but one thing I can be sure of is that they all have the potential to become very powerful warriors. We need to bring them under our command, then gather this strength, and launch a holy war against that unapproachable grandmother, my sisters!"

Perhaps with more hope, Hades stated this goal very clearly in one breath. This was more than she had said in an entire year. It seemed that the matter of Zeus had affected her heart too deeply.

"Let us launch the holy war!"

"Although I think conflict is not good, for Zeus, I will try my best."

"Holy war, holy war, holy war, we must win it."

"Finally, there's a glimmer of hope."

After this meeting, the five separated and began their actions, targeting 'humans'.
