Chapter 100 - Chapter 100: Domino Joins the Harem? The Gluttonous Kryptonian

"Haha, it's not up to me. But if there's a chance, I can recommend you to her."

Vincent laughed and pressed the intercom.

"Julia, tell Security to send Inez and Sandi up."

"Thank you so much, sir. By the way, I'm Domino. People call me Lucky Domino."

Domino was relaxed. She wasn't intimidated by Vincent's true identity as the Ice Demon.

She could see that this handsome guy wasn't a villain. Not the monster the legends made him out to be.

"Make yourself comfortable. Inez and Sandi will be here soon."

Vincent sat back in his office chair. "If you don't mind, I have some paperwork to finish."

"You're busy, sir."

Domino sat on the sofa, behaving herself.

"I'm actually interested in this Wade you mentioned. His healing factor comes from Wolverine, right?"

Vincent signed documents while chatting.

"I don't know Wade that well, but he's... interesting. His mouth is too dirty though. You probably wouldn't like him, sir."

Domino blinked.

She had only joined X-Force recently, looking for a paycheck.

But lately, work for mutants was scarce.

After the Battle of Alcatraz (The Last Stand), mutant casualties were high. The Cure was spreading. Many mutants were taking it.

Domino didn't know if her power was even real. "Luck" was too abstract.

"But Wade is laying low now. Without his powers, his cancer would kill him."

Domino smiled.

Since Alcatraz, Wade had vanished. Cable was looking for him—apparently, Wade stole something valuable from the time traveler. Cable wanted to break Deadpool's legs.

"That's a shame. He won't die easily. If he finds Oscorp, we have the tech to cure him properly."

Vincent felt relaxed.

Talking to Domino made him happy. She didn't do anything, but just being around her lifted his mood.

Maybe her luck is rubbing off on me.

"I heard Wade mention Oscorp. The Lizard man... was he an employee?" Domino asked curiously.

"Dr. Connors. A brilliant geneticist. But he was too impatient—or rather, the old Oscorp board was too impatient. They rushed human trials. He injected himself to spare others. He had a conscience then."

Vincent signed off on a budget approval.

He had given Raven authority, but she still put important files on his desk. It was a sign of respect—and a way to keep him tethered to the company. Vincent felt both annoyed and pleased.

"That's cruel for him," Domino sighed.

"Why cruel?"

"Turning into a monster? Neither human nor ghost? That's terrifying."

"Call me Vincent. And it's not cruel for Connors. He's a high-ranking Hydra executive now. Maybe even a future Elder. He found the key to unlock the genetic code. He has infinite resources. He's moved from animal hybrids to targeting the X-Gene. He wants to mass-produce mutant powers."

Vincent looked up, smiling at Domino.

Domino's eyes widened. "Then he deserves to die. Wait... Vincent, isn't Hydra gone? Since WWII?"

As a mercenary, she knew the players. But Hydra was supposed to be history.

"No. Hydra is scarier than ever. They are everywhere. Government, S.H.I.E.L.D., business. Parasites."

Vincent capped his pen and stood up.

"Inez and Sandi are here."

A knock on the door.

"Come in."

Sandi Brandenberg, with her fiery red hair, pushed the door open. She saw the sexy woman in tight leather on the sofa.

Inez Temple (Outlaw) frowned.

Sandi frowned too, but then her face lit up. "Look who it is! Lady Luck herself. I'm surprised to see you."

"Hi Sandi. Inez. Long time no see."

Domino waved enthusiastically.

"I'm doing great, Domino. I wasn't hoping to see you," Inez said bluntly, glancing at Vincent. If you want to know where Alex and the others are, ask the Demon.

"Ladies, I think you need a place to talk."

Vincent raised his hand. The Sling Ring sparked.

He drew a circle in the air.

A portal opened directly into the Long Island Villa. He used brute force magic to stabilize it.

"Whoa!"

Inez's eyes lit up. Even working here, the Ice Demon's new powers always shocked her.

"Thanks, Vincent."

Domino stepped through the portal casually.

Sandi and Inez followed.

Vincent walked through last and closed the portal.

"Nice house," Domino praised.

"You should save up and buy one. Domino, gambling drains your luck," Sandi scolded.

She knew the score. Domino made good money with Deadpool, but she lost it all in casinos.

"You know the deal. Lady Luck tells me to go to the casino to wash away my bad luck."

Good luck for others, bad luck for herself? Or vice versa?

Vincent was surprised. In Deadpool 2, Domino was lucky all around. But maybe her luck required balance.

"Ladies, you chat. I'm going fishing. I'll get us some dinner."

Vincent went upstairs, changed into swim trunks (prepared by Julia, his perfect assistant), and flew out the door.

Gwen was at school. He had free time.

He often saw Ghost-Spider swinging around New York. The criminal underworld was terrified of her—because they knew the new King of New York (Vincent) would destroy anyone who touched her.

Through the french windows, Domino watched Vincent leave.

"Girls... don't you think Vincent's body is... too perfect?"

She stared, practically drooling.

Sandi and Inez exchanged a foxy look.

They knew his body. They had tasted it.

But he looked even better today. More definition. More power.

The boss got stronger again.

Oscorp's Super Soldiers looked like steroid monsters compared to Vincent's sleek, god-like physique. It exuded raw masculine power.

Domino caught their look.

"Wait. Do you guys have a story with the Ice Demon?"

Her gossip radar pinged.

"Enough, Domino. Why are you in New York?" Sandi cut her off.

"Colossus and Logan want to know what happened in the Vatican," Domino said.

"That's not the real reason," Sandi stared her down.

"Okay. The School is running low on manpower. They know you're alive. They want you back," Domino shrugged.

"Thanks, but no. We work for Oscorp now. We aren't going back to Xavier's," Inez refused instantly.

A few days ago, she feared Vincent. Now? She lived in luxury. High salary, fast cars, no Sentinel attacks.

The Boss solved all problems. They were his protected canaries.

"Okay. I'll tell Wade."

Domino pulled out her phone.

"Wait. Why Wade?"

"Wade told me you were in New York."

"Is he here?"

"No. He's missing."

Domino texted Wade.

Meanwhile, Vincent was deep underwater.

He dove deep, giving the ladies time to talk.

He shot to the Caroline Islands in the West Pacific, grabbed a Bluefin Tuna, and sealed it in an ice bubble. Then he flew to the North Pacific for King Crabs.

Back at the villa.

"So, the School is closing?" Inez asked. She still had feelings for Xavier's.

"Inez, we 'won' at Alcatraz, but the Government really won. They are pushing the Cure. And the Power Dampeners. If you stay at Oscorp... you might become targets," Domino warned.

"The Government won't touch us. Not yet. They are begging to do business with us," Inez laughed.

The Military wanted back in. Raven refused them access to the board, but Oscorp still sold to them.

Super Soldier Serum. $1 Billion per soldier. Exclusive patent.

The Military was lining up to pay.

"Domino, maybe you should join Oscorp. $5 Million a year, after tax. Full medical," Inez dropped the offer.

"Full medical? Dental?"

"Plastic surgery too if you want. And expense accounts. Meals, gas, housing, clothes. All reimbursed."

"WTF?!! Really?!!"

Domino's eyes turned into dollar signs.

"And three fully paid vacations a year."

Domino stood up.

"Please! You must keep me here!!!"

Then she paused.

"Wait. Did the Boss sleep with you?"

"Domino, the boss wiped out X-Force," Inez sighed.

"Why?"

"Because we left him in the Vatican as bait. Turns out, we were smuggling Count Dracula's Blood Coffin!!!" Sandi cursed.

They almost became vampire chow.

"Dracula?!! So... the Boss destroyed the Vatican?!! Oh my god, that is so cool!!"

Domino was ecstatic.

"Time to work!" Vincent shouted from the yard.

Sandi smiled foxily and sashayed out. Inez followed, whistling.

In the yard, an ice grill was burning with eternal fire.

Vincent was levitating seafood out of a floating ball of seawater.

He looked at the three beauties.

"I like ingredients fresh. You girls handle the crabs and lobsters. I'll take care of the Tuna."

"No problem, Boss!"

Domino answered first.

Vincent looked at Sandi. She gave an 'OK' sign. Inez winked.

I see. Another one of Deadpool's friends poached.

Vincent was starving.

Merging the Kryptonian bloodline burned massive amounts of energy.

He ate most of the food.

The three women drank wine and chatted, leaving the gluttonous "God" to stuff his face.
