Shane: "What's the difference between magic and alchemy?"
Rikka: "Simple. With magic, you usually need a spell… or a magic wand… and a magic book, like a mage's grimoire. But with alchemy… you have to mix multiple things together… plants, honey, poison, or other ingredients… sometimes even animals… so you have to wait much longer, and it's more difficult than magic… at least for me, and maybe for other mages too."
Shane: "Oh… when did you learn it?"
Rikka: "Well, mostly on my own, but also at the Lillien School too… so yeah… I know a little alchemy… hehe… mostly healing stuff, not how to make gold."
