Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 – Awakening Beyond Limits

The collision was not just impact.

It was rupture.

Reality itself trembled as Leo and Kael's powers clashed.

Control against distortion.

Stability against chaos.

Order against manipulation.

The air screamed.

The ground shattered.

The sky darkened, as if something unseen had taken notice.

At the center of it all, Leo stood firm.

His arm extended forward.

Golden aura condensed around him.

Not expanding.

Not exploding.

Contained.

Perfectly.

Across from him, Kael smiled, even as the clash intensified.

"You're surpassing expectations," he said.

Leo didn't respond.

His focus had reached another level.

Everything around him slowed.

Not time, but perception.

Every movement.

Every distortion.

Every fluctuation in Kael's power.

He could see it.

Understand it.

"So this is your method," Leo whispered.

"You don't control everything."

"You disrupt it."

Kael's smile widened.

"Exactly."

"And disruption always wins against rigid control."

Leo's eyes sharpened.

"Then I won't be rigid."

The golden aura changed.

Not brighter.

Not larger.

But deeper.

It began to flow like liquid light.

Adapting.

Responding.

Not resisting the distortion, but moving with it.

Kael's expression shifted slightly.

"Interesting…"

The distortion that once clashed violently now began to lose its edge.

Its unpredictability was being understood.

Leo stepped forward.

Slow.

Calm.

Each step stabilized the space around him.

The twisted buildings began to straighten.

The warped ground returned to form.

Even the air became clear again.

"Impossible…" Kai whispered.

Milan's voice trembled slightly.

"He's not just resisting it…"

"He's correcting it."

Ryu clenched his fists.

"He's adapting mid-fight…"

Luna watched silently, her eyes reflecting something deeper.

"He's evolving."

Kael finally moved seriously.

For the first time, his aura surged.

Dark.

Distorted.

Violent.

"Let's see how far you can go," he said.

The distortion exploded outward again.

Stronger than before.

Faster.

More chaotic.

The world twisted violently.

But Leo didn't stop.

He didn't hesitate.

He stepped forward again and again.

Each step breaking through the distortion.

Each movement stabilizing reality itself.

Then Leo raised his hand.

"Enough."

The word wasn't loud, but it carried weight.

Authority.

The distortion froze completely.

Kael's eyes widened slightly.

For the first time, surprise.

"You…"

Leo's voice remained calm.

"You rely on chaos."

A pause.

"But chaos still follows rules."

The frozen distortion began to collapse.

Not violently, but precisely.

Piece by piece.

Until nothing remained.

Silence filled everything.

Absolute.

The city returned to normal.

The sky cleared.

The pressure disappeared.

Leo stood there, unshaken, unmoved, in control.

Kael looked at him.

No smile now.

No amusement.

Only focus.

"You've crossed the threshold."

Leo didn't reply.

"But this isn't the end."

"This is only the beginning."

Leo stepped forward.

"Then continue."

Kael exhaled slowly.

"No."

Silence followed.

"Not today."

Kai blinked.

"Wait… what?"

Ryu frowned.

"He's leaving?"

Milan adjusted his glasses.

"Why?"

Kael turned away.

"Because pushing you further now…"

"…would break the balance."

Leo's eyes narrowed slightly.

"What balance?"

Kael stopped for a moment.

Then said quietly,

"You'll understand soon."

His form began to distort.

Fading.

"Grow stronger."

"Because next time…"

A faint smile returned.

"You won't be the only one who has evolved."

And then he was gone.

Silence remained, but it was different now.

Not heavy.

Not oppressive.

Clear.

Open.

Kai dropped to the ground.

"Yeah… I'm done…"

Ryu let out a breath.

"That was beyond anything…"

Milan nodded slowly.

"We just witnessed a shift…"

Luna stepped closer to Leo.

"You changed again."

Leo looked at his hand.

The air around it was perfectly stable.

No distortion.

No fluctuation.

Complete control.

But his expression didn't show satisfaction.

Because he felt it.

Something deeper.

Something far beyond Kael.

Beyond Arion.

Beyond everything he had faced so far.

Far beyond the sky, beyond the visible universe, something ancient stirred.

Chains trembled.

A sealed presence shifted slightly.

A voice, old and endless, echoed faintly.

"Another one…"

"Has begun to rise…"

Back on the ground, Leo looked up.

His eyes calm, but deeper than before.

"This isn't enough."

The voice inside him responded.

"No."

"Not even close."

Leo clenched his fist.

Not out of anger, but resolve.

"Then I'll go beyond this."

The wind moved again.

Stronger.

Carrying something new.

Not just challenge.

Not just danger.

But destiny.

And Leo was no longer just part of it.

He was moving toward its center.

Toward the truth.

Toward the origin of everything.

And somewhere, waiting in silence,

The Ancient God watched.
