Along the way, Elysia didn't know how many times she had repelled the Death Soldier.
It always recovered completely and charged at Elysia again after a short while.
No matter what kind of injury it sustained, it was always the same.
Elysia looked at the small path beneath her feet.
It had no end...
"Hua, how much further is it?" Elysia muttered to herself.
"Hua, pay attention to me I'm so bored ♬" Elysia said as she walked.
But Fu Hua ignored her the whole time.
Soon, Elysia stopped calling out to Fu Hua herself.
However, the path beneath her feet still seemed endless.
Elysia's initially calm mood also became a little anxious.
As Elysia's mood changed, the path also underwent some subtle alterations without her knowing.
Originally, it was a straight path.
Now, the path had some bends added to it, at unknown places.
The more Elysia walked, the more annoyed she became.
The bends in the path also increased.
Especially with the Death Soldier constantly bothering her.
Elysia looked up at Mount Taixu ahead; she had walked for so long, but Mount Taixu's position seemed to have remained unchanged.
Kicking away the Death Soldier once more, Elysia raised the bow in her hand.
When aiming at Mount Taixu, Elysia still hesitated a little.
"Hua shouldn't blame me, after all, I'm so cute," Elysia whispered.
And Fu Hua didn't stop her, so it was fine!
Elysia's eyes became resolute, and then she directly drew the bow.
As the arrow was fired, some of the mist on Mount Taixu dissipated.
But as the mist cleared, the ground beneath her feet also began to shake.
"Eh?" Elysia quickly maintained her balance to avoid falling.
And on the path behind her, sections began to collapse.
Upon seeing this, Elysia quickly ran forward along the path.
After all, she didn't know what would happen if she fell with the collapsing ground.
Although she knew this was an illusion, what was the difference between Fu Hua's illusion and reality!
As Elysia ran continuously, she soon saw a pavilion.
Mount Taixu, which had seemed so far away, was now right behind the pavilion.
Inside the pavilion, a young girl was drinking tea.
"A visitor is a guest; how about resting here for a while before ascending the mountain?" the young girl invited Elysia.
"Isn't this an illusion?" Elysia walked into the pavilion and carefully observed the young girl.
"Yes, this place is indeed an illusion," the young girl replied.
"Then are you a living person, or a person generated by the illusion?" Elysia asked directly; she disliked roundabout things.
"Me? This body is just a phantom that died long ago," the young girl smiled freely.
"Eh? But..." Elysia reached out and pinched the young girl's face, "Doesn't look like you're dead," Elysia mumbled.
"You're not afraid of strangers at all, Miss. Aren't you afraid I might harm you?" The young girl allowed Elysia's actions, then chuckled softly after Elysia stopped.
"Eh?" Elysia scratched her head, "This is an illusion, why should I be afraid of you?"
"Besides, Sister, you're so beautiful, you wouldn't hurt such a cute Elysia, would you ♬~" Elysia said, then directly sat down opposite the young girl.
"You're really carefree," the young girl smiled and shook her head.
"So, Sister, why are you here?" Elysia asked after pouring herself a cup of tea.
"Me? I don't know what my purpose is for being here," the smile on the young girl's face slowly faded.
"Sister, if you don't want to say, then don't," Elysia said, taking a sip of tea.
She didn't know how long she had been running on this path; she was almost dying of thirst!
"As for my previous purpose, I cannot say, but my current purpose is merely to meet you," the young girl observed Elysia seriously.
"Meet me?" Elysia looked down at herself; she wasn't anything special.
"Mm, after all, no one has come to Mount Taixu for a very long time," the young girl turned her head and looked in the direction of Mount Taixu.
"I didn't expect that after so long, Master would still bring new people here," the young girl said with a hint of bitterness, as if remembering something.
"Master? Are you Fu Hua's disciple?"
"Yes, and I am also one of the culprits who killed Master," the young girl stood up and walked to an open space in front of Mount Taixu.
"Come, let me see what you have learned from Master," the young girl extended a hand and spoke to Elysia.
Elysia looked at the cup in her hand, then at the young girl challenging her in front.
Elysia simply turned her head away and silently drank her water.
"What, do you think I'm not worthy of your strike?" The young girl still maintained that same demeanor.
"I say, Sister, is there any meaning in fighting like this? And Elysia doesn't want to fight right now. Not to mention whether Elysia can beat you, Elysia doesn't want to get beaten up," Elysia said.
Elysia was self-aware. Regarding the identity of the young girl in front of her, she should be one of Fu Hua's seven disciples.
Elysia didn't have any particular thoughts about the seven disciples. After all, wasn't Fu Hua still fine now? Hatred wasn't her place to feel.
With Elysia's half-baked martial arts, was she supposed to go up and get beaten up!
No matter how she thought about it, she couldn't win! And if she lost here, Fu Hua would definitely give her special training again when she slept tonight!
The young girl looked at Elysia, who sat there motionless, and she sighed, "Have the arrogant (arrogance/pride) of the outside world disappeared after all these years?"
Then the young girl returned to the pavilion.
"Sister, being able to win is called arrogant (arrogance/pride); knowingly fighting when you can't win is asking for trouble," Elysia said, shrugging.
"Won't you try?"
"No, because if I lose, I'll get another beating later. Are you really so cruel as to let cute Elysia get beaten up?"
"Perhaps, it is precisely your demeanor that attracted the current Master," the young girl smiled and shook her head.
"I hope you can stay with Master from now on. Next, I will send you out of here."
After the young girl finished speaking, Elysia felt as if the young girl was moving further and further away from her.
Then, Elysia woke up.
Elysia, now awake, was still sitting in the pavilion.
Fu Hua sat opposite Elysia.
Elysia turned her head and looked at Mount Taixu nearby, and the place where the young girl had challenged her earlier; that spot was now overgrown with weeds.
What was originally a platform now didn't even have a place to set foot.
"Hua, by the way, what did you want to do by coming to Mount Taixu?" Elysia asked curiously.
"I don't know," Fu Hua shook her head.
She also didn't know what she wanted to do by coming here. It seemed like she wanted to bring Elysia to meet certain people?
But were there really any living people left on Mount Taixu now?
