The rumblings of thunder from a distance woke her up. She looked around, Brandon was no longer in the chamber. The last thing she remembered was crouching on his wolf while he narrated everything that happened while he was at the academy. She didn't know when she fell asleep. Probably, the wine she took sedated her.
She looked at the Panerin Alpha's time Sigil that hung on the wall; it was a few minutes past two already. She slowly rolled out of the bed and stared at the door sealed with twenty automatic bolts. Brandon would have left the door closed if he knew she couldn't open it. She walked towards the door looking for a red mark or anything that would trigger the bolts. However, the bolts disengaged as soon as the optical sensor detected her motion.
She was happy she had found some answers to her questions, but she still needed to find out what he needed from her, what he did that made him so rich and powerful.
