After basically confirming that Amanda's body was fine, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick returned to Hogwarts first.
Although they were still a bit worried about Amanda, they had to go back to teach classes after all.
Furthermore, Amanda had doctors and nurses to look after her at St Mungos, so there wouldn't be any problems.
Thus, Amanda began her time alone at St Mungos Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Leaning back on the hospital bed, Amanda subconsciously began to think about today's class schedule in her mind.
This morning's class should be Charms Class, and the afternoon should be Potion Class.
The charm to be learned today is... Her brain moved into operation, beginning to "review" the content that should be learned in Charms Class today bit by bit.
She continuously replayed and memorized the contents of the books until the ward door was knocked on, and only then did Amanda realize that two hours had passed.
"Come in." A cool and indifferent voice sounded, and the ward door opened under Amanda's gaze.
Headmaster Dumbledore appeared at the door with Mr. Weasley and Mrs. Weasley.
"Good morning, Miss Amanda."
Headmaster Dumbledore looked at Amanda on the bed with a smile, "You look like you're recovering quite well."
Amanda nodded with a calm expression, "Good morning, Headmaster Dumbledore. Thank you for your concern, I am fine."
After saying that, her gaze shifted to the two adults behind Headmaster Dumbledore.
Amanda greeted them politely, "Good morning, Mrs. Weasley, Mr. Weasley."
"Good morning, child." Mrs. Weasley's face was full of gratitude; she almost stepped forward with tears in her eyes, wanting to hug Amanda.
But considering her condition, she restrained her actions and only took her hand.
"We really... we really should thank you properly. You saved Ginny. Merlin, we really can't imagine what would have happened to Ginny if it weren't for you."
"That was, after all, You-Know-Who..."
Looking at the sobbing Mrs. Weasley before her, Amanda opened her mouth and spoke stiffly.
"Ginny is very smart. Even without my help, she would have eventually realized and sought help from someone."
"You are far too modest, good child." Mrs. Weasley affectionately kissed Amanda's forehead.
Amanda blinked, looking at her with a deadpan gaze.
"Thank you so much, Amanda," Mr. Weasley stepped forward and smiled at her, "Our whole family is very grateful to you. Ron and the others are still in class, so they didn't come. Ginny was taken into the Hospital Wing by Madam Pomfrey to recover."
"Yes," Headmaster Dumbledore also entered the ward and nodded in agreement, "Ron and the others originally wanted to come too, but they were stopped by Filius. He said..."
Amanda spoke first, saying the words that subconsciously popped into her mind, "Studying is the first... second priority. They shouldn't delay their studies because of me."
"Ah," Headmaster Dumbledore clapped his hands, "That's exactly what he said, except he said that in your view, studying should be the first priority."
"He also said this might make you feel like you're delaying your friends' studies."
"Yes." Amanda answered without hesitation. If Ron and the others really skipped class to come thank her...
She would indeed feel that way, because studying is the second priority.
"The first priority should be ourselves. Hermione told me that."
Amanda said mechanically. Headmaster Dumbledore showed a gratified smile and stroked his beard.
"Wonderful, a very good realization, Miss Amanda. I think I should give Miss Granger some points after she wakes up."
Amanda nodded with stiff movements, looking at Headmaster Dumbledore with a dull gaze.
"Headmaster Dumbledore, the thing that influenced Ginny, has it been found?"
"You did indeed ask this question," Headmaster Dumbledore sat by the bed, "After all, you are a child who pursues knowledge and cares for your friends."
Headmaster Dumbledore clasped his hands, his thumbs circling each other, "I did indeed find the item that influenced Ginny. It's a black diary, belonging to Voldemort."
Voldemort's diary, and it was delivered into Ginny Weasley's hands.
Amanda's brain quickly began to deduce. A diary capable of possession—though she didn't know what magic was used within it.
But even so, she could see that this diary was definitely not ordinary and not common.
Even among Dark Arts items, it should belong to the very rare category.
Combined with Voldemort's current state of having no physical body, it was impossible for such a Dark Arts item to be given to Ginny directly from his hands.
So it was only possible that he had once given this Dark Arts item to someone, and that person gave it to Ginny.
To whom would he give such a rare Dark Arts item? This was an obvious question that didn't even require much reasoning.
The person he gave it to must be a confidant, a capable lieutenant.
Most such people were in Azkaban, except for those Pure-blood families.
As Amanda's thoughts flowed, she locked her target onto the Pure-blood families that had once supported Voldemort.
And among these Pure-blood families, the one most relied upon by Voldemort and with the greatest prestige was certainly the House of Malfoy.
Memories replayed quickly; the scene in Diagon Alley where Lucius Malfoy and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley confronted each other appeared in her mind.
Combined with their conversation at the time, it could be inferred that the Weasley family and the Malfoy family had a relationship equivalent to a blood feud.
Having sufficient capital and motive to do this, the probability of the House of Malfoy reached over eighty percent.
Thinking of this, Amanda looked up at Headmaster Dumbledore and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. The three adults were all looking at her with concern at this moment.
They didn't seem to want to ask who the culprit might be. Amanda's brain paused slightly, and she then pushed this deduction to the back of her mind.
If others didn't ask her, it was best not to say anything, otherwise it might give others the false impression that she was showing off.
Mr. and Mrs. Weasley thanked Amanda once more, and then they left together with Headmaster Dumbledore.
They still had one thing to do, which was to go to the Ministry of Magic to correct the case where Hagrid was wrongly accused fifty years ago.
An innocent person should not continue to be wrongly accused.
After the three left, Amanda received her lunch from St Mungos.
The hospital lunch had no flavor and was very lean.
However, it was all the same to Amanda. She "previewed" the content of the afternoon Charms Class in her mind while sitting on the bed and finishing the lunch that was delivered.
This cooperative attitude made the nurse who came to collect the meal box beam with joy.
As if coaxing a child—or rather, exactly like coaxing a child—she reached out and rubbed Amanda's head.
"Wonderful. You need to eat more so you can recover quickly. Besides, you really are too thin."
Amanda responded expressionlessly. After thanking the nurse, she watched her walk out of the ward.
For the entire afternoon, Amanda stayed in the ward repeating the content of the Charms Class, reviewing the Charms that should be learned this afternoon over and over again.
During this period, except for the nurse who came to check on her periodically, no one else came by.
Until evening, her ward door was knocked on once again. Amanda raised her left hand to look at her watch; it was exactly the time Hogwarts finished classes.
So there was no need to think about who was outside the door. It should be Professor McGonagall and the others, and perhaps Senior Cho Chang and her friends had come as well.
"Come in."
She spoke with a voice as flat as water, and the ward door was immediately opened.
Two red-haired twins who looked almost identical walked in. Their usually mischievous faces were now filled with solemnity.
Following behind them was a red-haired boy a head taller than them, clearly their older brother.
Fred, George, and Percy. Amanda quickly recognized their identities; even with The Twins, she distinguished them through micro-expressions and various small movements on their faces.
Behind the three of them followed Harry and Ron, as well as the three seniors: Cho Chang, Marietta Eckmore, and Penelope.
When the three seniors saw Amanda on the bed, they pursed their lips and flared their nostrils in unison.
A look of both heartache and anger. For some reason, Amanda suddenly swallowed physiologically.
Fred, George, Percy, and Ron—the four children of the Weasley family—walked to the bed to thank Amanda.
The Twins no longer joked around as usual, but instead, both of them properly thanked Amanda together.
"Thank you, Amanda. It was you who helped Ginny."
"Thank you, you saved my sister." Ron also sincerely thanked Amanda.
Percy also nodded at Amanda, "Thank you, Amanda. Thank you for saving Ginny, and for making us brothers... realize that we didn't care enough for our sister."
If they had cared enough for Ginny, enough for her to depend on them, how could she have entrusted her thoughts to a diary?
The three "Weasley brothers" still at Hogwarts had all been blaming themselves for an entire day.
"You're welcome. It's only right to do one's best to help a classmate when able."
"And you don't need to blame yourselves too much. Everyone makes mistakes. It's fine as long as you can correct them."
After Amanda finished these two sentences in a monotone, her gaze bypassed them to look at Cho Chang and the other two.
Cho Chang, Marietta Eckmore, and Penelope walked to Amanda's bed. The Weasley boys consciously moved aside, and Harry gave Amanda a look of 'take care' from behind the crowd.
Before coming, Professor McGonagall had pulled him, Ron, and Senior Cho Chang and her friends aside to tell them about Amanda going to deal with the Basilisk alone and using the Crucio curse to punish herself.
At that time, the expressions of Senior Cho Chang and the other two darkened. It was exactly like the expression Hermione would make every time they procrastinated on their homework.
So now he could only let Amanda take care of herself. With just Hermione alone, he and Ron were already scolded severely.
This time Amanda... Harry shrunk his neck, looking at Amanda and estimating in his heart how harshly she might be scolded.
Receiving Harry's gaze, Amanda was unable to understand his signal.
The emotional part contained in Harry's gaze exceeded her range of analysis.
Shifting her gaze to the three seniors, Cho Chang gritted her teeth and reached out to pinch Amanda's cheek.
She clearly wanted to give it a hard tug, but looking at this fellow's blank face and feeling the smooth touch in her hand, her anger toward Amanda for hurting herself instantly dissipated.
This fellow... really makes it impossible to stay angry. She let go of the hand pinching Amanda's cheek.
Cho Chang reached out and poked her forehead, scolding her in a small voice, "The Crucio curse, you actually dared to use it on yourself. You really are too bold."
Penelope followed closely and also used her hand to poke Amanda's forehead, "Exactly, you really... doesn't it hurt? That's the most torturous curse!"
Marietta Eckmore watched Amanda's little head swaying from being poked by the two. She first reached out to support the back of Amanda's head, and only then used her other hand to poke lightly.
"Cho Chang and Senior Penelope are right. You really gave us a scare this time."
"Just wait until Hermione wakes up," Cho Chang crossed her arms and looked down at Amanda, frightening her junior without any hesitation, "She will definitely sort you out."
Amanda nodded blankly, "Okay."
She hadn't done as she promised Hermione, so Hermione should sort her out.
Looking at Amanda's reaction, the three seniors sighed in unison.
They all knew that although they said so, they themselves couldn't bear to actually scold Amanda.
Would Hermione really be able to bear scolding her? How could that be? They could only... dote on her and be more careful in the future.
Standing outside the door, Professor McGonagall looked at the children in the ward and smiled affectionately.
She just loved seeing these children looking bright and happy. This should be what every qualified Professor loves to see.
After chatting with Amanda for a short while, Cho Chang and the others returned to Hogwarts. They still had to go back for dinner.
After dinner, they had to do their homework. This was something Amanda specifically reminded them of.
Amanda would absolutely never allow her friends to delay their studies because of her.
After sending the children back to Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall returned to the ward.
She took out a Mandrake leaf and handed it to Amanda, "From now on, you need to keep this leaf in your mouth for a month, until the next full moon. During this period, remember not to swallow the leaf, and certainly do not spit it out early."
"That is to say, no matter what, you cannot let this leaf leave your mouth."
Amanda nodded seriously, "I understand. Thank you, Professor McGonagall."
After saying that, she took the Mandrake leaf handed over by Professor McGonagall, put it in her mouth, and pressed it under her tongue.
Professor McGonagall nodded with satisfaction and placed a notebook in Amanda's hand.
"This is the notebook I used when practicing the Animagus transformation. You can take a look, but remember not to try it easily on your own. Do not be reckless."
"Okay, thank you, Professor McGonagall." Amanda took the notebook and nodded obediently. Her voice was slightly muffled because of the leaf in her mouth.
With the leaf in her mouth, Amanda began to think in her mind about what kind of animal her Animagus might become.
Yesterday's fragmented memories flashed in her mind, and an uncontrollable heat gathered in her chest.
To be able to protect Hermione and everyone... to have enough power, to be dangerous enough... In her hazy imagination, a ghost-like figure flashed quickly through the woods.
