Chapter 35 - 35 Another Choice

Clang—!

It was wado ichimonji that precisely blocked this insidious sneak attack!

Zoro drew his sword and charged out of the jungle, appearing behind Nami and the others. Then, Zoro drew his other two swords, using them to parry Ms. Doublefinger's thorny arm, his eyes as sharp as blades.

"Hey."

Zoro's voice carried undisguised contempt as he looked at Ms. Doublefinger and said, "Sneak attacking from behind? Is that how you so-called assassins target injured people?"

Hearing the loud bang from behind her, Nami reacted, her face turning pale with fright.

She then turned around, full of anger, and yelled at Ms. Doublefinger, "We just saved you! Without us, you would have already turned into wax figures! What are you doing?!"

Sanji also emerged from the jungle, raising his right leg and saying, "Attacking the two ladies on our ship isn't a good thing to do..."

Seeing her attack fail, Ms. Doublefinger quickly retreated, her expression somewhat grim.

She glanced at Mr.1, who was still silent behind her, gritted her teeth, and said coldly, "Blame us for being assassins..."

Zoro scoffed, then began to tie on his bandana. His three swords were already in a fighting stance, his gaze provocatively fixed on Mr.1, who was behind Ms. Doublefinger.

"Hey, you octopus bald head."

He raised his chin and said with a smile, "Let me tell you some good news. Just now, it seems... I can cut iron now too."

Mr.1's gaze finally shifted from Tomioka and landed on Zoro.

His stern face finally showed a hint of surprise. Despite Zoro's provocation, he remained silent, but in truth, his heart had already been affected by Zoro's words... Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Luffy's battle with Mr.3 was also nearing its end.

The helpless Mr.3 was caught off guard and steadily pushed back by Luffy's chaotic wax-against-wax fighting style. He tried to create more wax constructs for defense, but Luffy's attacks grew increasingly fierce.

"It's endless! Candle Lock!" Mr.3 panted, trying to use wax liquid to lock Luffy's feet and restrict his movements.

"Gum-Gum! Candle Lock Whip!" Seeing himself locked, Luffy instead showed an excited expression. He directly hugged a tree and swung his lower body like a whip towards Mr.3!

"Damn it! Damn it!"

Mr.3's mentality was starting to collapse. How could his ability be completely countered by this Straw Hat boy, who was just playing around with it?

"Candle Champion · Simplified Version!"

Mr.3 began to release wax liquid all over his body, forming a simple robot-like shape in just a few seconds, like a boxer. He then swung his fists, driving it from inside.

"You bastard! Taste the power of the Candle Champion!"

Luffy seized this opportunity, sensing that the Mr.3 in front of him probably wouldn't move erratically anymore. He then stretched out his arm to grab the wax robot and jumped onto its head.

"What are you doing????"

Then, Luffy raised one leg, extending it infinitely upwards, directly into the sky, even piercing through some clouds!

"Gum-Gum!!!!!"

His voice reached Mr.3's ears, who was hiding inside the shell, carrying both anger and determination.

Mr.3 looked up in terror, only to see an infinitely extended rubber foot wearing a slipper, retracting and falling instantly with an unstoppable momentum!

"Battle—Axe—!!!"

Boom!!!!!!!!

Like a true giant axe cleaving down, a huge deep pit was smashed into the ground!

Mr.3's meticulously crafted final defensive wax armor also shattered like a replica under this blow! He himself was violently slammed into the bottom of the pit, his eyes spiraling, completely losing consciousness, with only half of his body exposed.

"Phew..."

Luffy landed, let out a long breath, clapped his hands and said, "Done!"

But before he could fully relax, Nami's even more anxious and panicked shout came from the other side: "Luffy!! This is bad! Tomioka, he...!"

Luffy turned his head and saw Tomioka violently coughing on the other side, even coughing up some wax dust.

His face was an unhealthy pale, his body leaning against Nami and Vivi, one hand still gripping his Blade.

"Tomioka!!!"

Seeing this situation, Luffy instantly rushed over and picked up Tomioka. The high temperature he felt made him jump in surprise.

"Hot hot hot!!!"

"What should we do in this situation, Nami!!!" Luffy, holding Tomioka, anxiously shouted at Nami, his voice filled with panic.

"A doctor... we need to find a doctor..."

Looking at Tomioka's condition, Nami also didn't know what to do. Although she knew a little medical common sense, it was ultimately not enough in this situation.

Brogy, who was watching them from the side, scratched his big beard, a hint of helplessness appearing on his giant face: "On this island... there are only us two guys and a bunch of wild beasts. There's never been a doctor..."

These words were like a bucket of cold water, making the Straw Hat's hearts sink. Nami and Vivi's faces were filled with anxiety, and Zoro and Sanji also frowned deeply.

Just as this desperate atmosphere was about to engulf everyone.

A familiar, slightly mysterious female voice leisurely drifted from the shadows of the jungle on the other side.

"How about... you all listen to my suggestion?"

Robin slowly emerged from the woods, as if she had merely stumbled upon this chaotic battlefield. Her posture was elegant, a faint smile on her face, her gaze sweeping over everyone, finally resting on the unconscious Tomioka in Luffy's arms.

"It's you?" Nami immediately recognized her, "The Vice President's..."

Zoro also instantly became vigilant, the tip of his sword slightly raised.

Luffy, holding Tomioka, directly asked, "What are you doing here again?" His tone was very direct, after all, it was she who had captured the old captain of the guard at Whiskey Peak.

Robin was not surprised by Luffy's directness. She smiled slightly, her gaze sweeping over the barely standing, nervous Ms. Doublefinger and the silent Mr.1, then proposed her terms:

"It's simple. You stop here, no longer attack Mr.1 and Ms. Doublefinger, and let me take them back with me. How about it?"

"Huh? Are you kidding me!" Luffy immediately refused, a slightly displeased expression on his face, as he waved his fist.

"They're bad guys! They even injured Tomioka!"

"Is that so? What a pity." Robin, however, seemed to have expected this. Without rushing, she raised her hand, her fingertips hooking a delicate Eternal Pose, and gently shook it as she said, "What if... I use this as an exchange?"

Her gaze swept over Luffy and Nami, who was more capable of rational judgment.

"The island this pointer indicates... as far as I know, it has a doctor on it."

Her words carried a strange allure, "If you don't believe me and insist on continuing to fight here, or choose to aimlessly search for a doctor on the vast sea... I can't do anything about it."

Her gaze finally returned to Tomioka's pale face, her voice lowered, yet clearly reaching everyone's ears.

"It's just that... Mr. Samurai's condition, I'm afraid... can't afford too much delay, can it?"

These words, like a heavy hammer, struck hard at the heart of every Mugiwara.

The air instantly solidified.

Should they insist on dealing with all enemies here, gambling that Tomioka could hold on until an unknown doctor was found? Or accept this woman's deal, gaining a clear hope, but letting the current enemies go?

Everyone's gaze turned to Luffy, who was holding Tomioka.
