Chapter 54 - chapter 54

Chapter 54 — Scarface

Vijay frowned, his thoughts finally catching up to the plan.

"So my parents will distract that fool and take the girl… fine," he said slowly.

"But what happens when Radha comes back and finds out? Who do you think she'll attack first?"

Tony smirked.

"That's where Scarface comes in."

Vijay's expression changed instantly.

"Wait… that dark web assassin you mentioned?"

Tony nodded.

"Yes. Him."

There was a brief pause before Tony continued, his tone calm but filled with confidence.

"Do you know his greatest ability?"

Vijay stayed silent.

Tony leaned closer.

"Erase."

Vijay's eyes narrowed.

"Erase?"

"Yes," Tony said.

"If he kills someone and activates that skill, even I can't detect anything. Not the body, not the trace, nothing."

He exhaled slowly.

"Even someone like Radha… won't be able to find a single clue."

Vijay swallowed.

Tony's plan was far more dangerous than he expected.

"I'll have Scarface kill Krishna," Tony continued.

"That useless body of his won't last even a second."

He smiled coldly.

"And after that… I'll blackmail Radha."

Vijay still looked uncertain.

"And the girl?"

Tony's eyes darkened.

"I won't keep her somewhere she can be rescued."

He paused, letting the weight of his words sink in.

"I'll keep her in a place where one signal from me… ends her life instantly."

Silence followed.

Even Vijay felt a chill.

"Tony…" he said slowly, "why are you going this far? Just for my sister?"

Tony's expression twisted slightly.

"That's none of your business."

His voice turned sharp.

"I'm giving you everything. Her wealth. Her position. Even a path to become a Double S-rank hunter."

He stared directly at Vijay.

"So stop asking questions… and do what I say."

Vijay lowered his head.

"…Fine."

Tony turned away, already moving forward to deal with incoming monsters.

But deep inside—

His thoughts were far darker than what he showed.

What he planned for Radha was not just control.

It was something far more twisted.

---

Meanwhile, inside the dungeon—

Radha suddenly froze.

A system notification appeared before her.

Her eyes flickered as she read it mid-battle, but she didn't stop moving until the monsters were cleared.

Once the party took a break, she quietly stepped away.

To check the message.

To the outside world, she was just an S-rank hunter.

But her true potential…

Was far beyond that.

Heaven-rank.

A level only a handful of people in the entire world could even dream of.

Her system displayed the reward.

Title: Wolf Slayer

An epic-ranked title.

It granted massive bonus damage against wolf-type monsters.

Radha glanced at it briefly.

But she didn't care.

Her attention shifted to the second message.

And the moment she read it—

Her pupils turned pale.

A rare reward.

She had been given the chance to awaken someone of her choice.

At any time she decided.

Her first thought was Krishna.

But his current mental state… made that impossible.

So she had decided earlier—

To give it to her daughter.

But now—

That option was gone.

The system displayed another message.

Target has already awakened.

Target has been selected by another system.

Interference is prohibited.

Radha's breath stopped.

"…What?"

Her daughter…

Awakened?

On her own?

And chosen by another system?

Her hands trembled slightly.

This wasn't normal.

This wasn't something that should happen.

The system continued.

Any tasks given to the candidate must be completed independently.

Guardian interference is restricted.

That message scared her.

Not because her daughter was weak.

But because she couldn't help.

She clenched her fists.

"…No."

But she forced herself to calm down.

People chosen by systems were not ordinary.

They had protection.

They had destiny.

They wouldn't die easily.

"I'll train her," Radha whispered to herself.

"I'll make her strong enough to survive anything."

But even she didn't realize—

A nightmare was already moving toward her.

One she would have to face alone.

---

Back at home—

Krishna slowly opened his eyes.

He stretched slightly, still half-asleep.

Then, without thinking, he stepped off the bed.

And stood up.

For one second.

Then—

Gravity reminded him.

His legs gave out instantly.

He crashed straight onto the floor.

Krishna blinked, lying there in silence.

"…Why did the ground come up and hit me?" he muttered, completely confused.
