Treyni looked off as the two demons lords and true dragon flew off and she sighed in relief that it went smoothly
" I guess it all worked out just as predicted. The spirit queen came to Simon's companions, most likely due to the fog concealing Velzard's soul corridor and now their looking for traces of him. It seems that Simon's predictions were on point."
An ethereal voice came into her ears, feigning hurt, "You were doubting me, I'm deeply hurt Treyni."
"Oh shut up, I didn't want to do this." Treyni sighed in resignation, "According to your script, they should be heading to Veldora's cave and Guy should already have an idea of who Pneuma is."
"You don't seem happy to play along with this game."
"Really, what was your first clue." Treyni was fed up with my lacksidasical attitude to this plan of mine.
" I know that this is cruel to them but this is necessary until I can cull whatever it is that ails me."
" I'm not worried about them, I'm worried about you. You worry that your uncontrollable genocidal tendencies combined with your incredible power might go out of control and now your only solution is to shut everyone out. You're not even sure that theVoid switch will work!"
I was touched by the concern that she was showing me, " I…I'm sorr-"
" You know Nyx told me what you did. Erasing an entire planet just so you can finally quell the rage in your heart, the violence coursing through your veins, DID IT SATISFY YOU TO MURDER SO MANY FOR YOUR OWN ADDICTION!!"

I didn't speak, I couldn't, everything she said was correct. I couldn't refute her, I couldn't go against her, I couldn't do anything.
" Have you ever thought that maybe what you're doing will just cause more pain…" Treyni began choking up, her eyes began filling with tears, "…You're just gonna ruin yourself in the end."
"Ruin myself? If that's all that is then I'm fine with it, as long as they're safe then I'm fine with that."
"You're just awful, I wish the Void switch would also attack me aswell."
" Do you want it to attack you?"
Treyni stayed silent for a minute, contemplating the offer, " No…I refuse to you let you handle this alone."
"You drive a hard bargain, ok 20000 you talked me into it."
"PFFFFT!" Treyni was instantly amused by my sudden joke, " haha, don't you dare try and change the subject." Treyni realized the truth behind my joke but her mood was lifted anyway.
" Treyni please, just do this for me. I'm begging you."
Treyni was caught off guard, " O…ok, now stop asking so desperately, it's blinding." Treyni wasn't weak-willed, quite the opposite, but Simon was a different case. This was the first time that he had begged her to do anything for him, how in the hell can she refuse after everything he did for her.
" Simon."
" Yes?"
" You drove an entire planet to extinction, you created an entire world to hide from those you care about and now out of paranoia you decide to permanently separate yourself from them. One must come to ask… are you gonna be ok?" Treyni was speaking in a solemn, defeated tone, she had began to sat against a tree stump and hiding in her legs.
"Honestly, I don't know but what I consider the most prominent aspect about myself is my determination and with that being said, I refuse to simply lose myself." I spoke in a resolute tone before going back to a more calmer and gentle one, "I'm sorry Treyni for making you apart of this."
"Don't be, this was my choice."
"Goodbye for now, you will probably hear back from Nyx on whether it's been a failure or a success."
There Treyni sat down against a tree crying and lamenting over her own powerlessness and inability to help her friend.

I was currently staring out in the cosmos, taking in the beautiful radiance once again. Truthfully though, my mind was not on the scenery Infront of me, I felt terrible for forcing Treyni to do that, I had heavily underestimated her care for me.
"If you have something to say, please say it." I said to Nyx walking up behind me.
" You really are just a terrible person, dad."
" I know. Do you still hate me?"
" Dad you know I lo-"
" It's a yes or no question Nyx!" I snapped, I was not in the mood for her to keep mincing her words, " Sorry Nyx, just please be honest."
" Y-yes, but that doesn't mean I don't love you, you know you can feel two things for someone at the same time." Nyx was scrambling for a way to justify her reasons until she decided to just be straight, " What you did was simply inexcusable."
"Oh ok." Nyx didn't miss the disappointment in my voice.
" Did you want me to keep hating you?"
" I believe I deserve to be hated to some degree, when you said you hated me, it filled with relief that there is a voice of reason and doubt in my ear."
Nyx gritted her teeth and clenched her fist, she became displeased by my statement, "Fuck you dad, if you want someone to hate you than look for someone else to do it."
She walked away furiously, leaving me to my own thoughts, "That wasn't fair to ask her of that."

Amanises was startled by the door bursting open, Nyx had walked in and began pacing up and down frustrated, " So what's new Nyx." Amanises asked acting oblivious.
" I'm pissed off at dad!"
" I asked what's new but sure whatever. What he do this time?"
" He… wanted me to hate him." Amanises turned her head and raised her eyebrow, " Don't look at me as if I'm crazy."
" I'm probably not gonna follow anything so I'm just gonna get to the point. Are you mad because he asked you to hate you or because you feel bad for saying it the first time?"
"…" Amanises wasn't wrong, the first time that she had said it, she felt a bitter rage towards herself, she felt anguish at saying that to the man that raised her.
She had no idea that the notion that she could possibly hate him could sicken her to such a degree. Her creator and father, the person who had given life to her and yet despite go against her original programming, he still raised her like his own.
" What are you gonna do about this?"
" No matter what, I'm not gonna leave him alone, even if he doesn't like it. You're gonna do that too, right Am."
The wolf perked up, " Yeah!"
Suddenly an AI male voice appeared over the space, [Void switch is 100% charged].

I was looking at the group talking to Veldora through the gray fog, I couldn't get the fog too close, even in an invisible state by weaving it through the dimensional gaps, those with an intuitive sense of spacetime would detect it immediately.
I felt a rumble through my gut, not from hunger but from anguish, "I'm really gonna miss you guys."

Before Guy could make his final thoughts on Pneuma, the Gray fog spread throughout all dimensions connected to the cardinal world.
The fog stretched throughout the world, effecting everyone who saw the face and heard the name of who I am. Humans, monsters, elf's, everything was affected.
The fog reached the cave and claimed the four higher figures before they could retaliate or defend against them.
I looked down at them with affection, this would be the last time that they would have familiarity of who he is.
As they were writhing in pain, I looked at Velzard with apology and spoke two words that reverberated through out the fog, "I'm sorry."
I pulled out Zelus…
…And plunged it into my heart, the resulting plunge destroyed the very thing connected to my soul.
The pain was unbearable, combined with the massive use of energy used to control the fog across all realms, I was forced into a coma.
'Now, they can finally be free of me. Now they can finally be safe from me.' With that thought in mind, the pain put me to sleep but I could finally rest in peace for the first time in decades.
From this day forth, the world shall no longer know Simon Winters
