Kyle wasn't running short on time, as he hadn't sensed anyone approaching, nor had he received any message from Veronica alerting him that his interference had been noticed.
So, he decided to take a moment to calm his breathing in the park before figuring out what to do next.
Naturally, his focus remained on the screen, where several comments were scrolling. Among them was a new presence… a name he didn't recognize.

Kyle tilted his head and asked the system, "What is a living step?"
