Qianyu pulled out three chakra paper slips.

No explanation was needed. Hinata Tenri and Itachi, born into prominent clans, knew exactly what the paper was for.

Akino Shinya, born a civilian, was confused for a second. But he was smart. He received the paper but didn't move. Instead, he observed Itachi and Tenri's actions. From their movements, he could roughly guess the paper's purpose.

Qianyu watched Shinya's reaction without comment.

The test results were out.

Itachi's chakra affinities were Water, Fire, and Wind.

Hinata Tenri's were Fire and Wind.

Akino Shinya's were Lightning, Water, and Wind.

The test was over. All three looked at Qianyu with brimming anticipation. Even the usually calm Itachi was no different.

"Let's start with the attribute you all share," Qianyu said.

All three had Wind affinity. He'd begin with Wind-style techniques.

Qianyu didn't know any himself… but he had the System.

"…"

The System sighed internally and dutifully began scanning its mini-universe for Wind-type skills.

'System, get me a Wind skill from a xuanhuan world,' Qianyu added. After a thought, he tacked on: 'A complete set would be best!'

In the anime he'd seen, Wind skills were scarce. Except in Chinese xuanhuan series—there, Wind skills were ridiculously powerful.

"…"

The System narrowed the search parameters.

'Use Orochimaru's maxed-out Favorability to exchange for it.'

Qianyu scrolled through the Favorability progress panels in his mind, nodding with satisfaction. His stored Favorability was quite substantial now. He needed to keep up the effort.

[Ding! Host, please confirm: exchange Orochimaru's max Favorability for a Wind-type skill?]

Qianyu hit confirm. He was genuinely curious what skill the System would draw.

[Ding! Skill drawing in progress. Host, please do not disconnect!]

[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6…]

[Ding! Skill draw successful!]

[Wind-type skill drawn: Full set of Battle Through the Heavens anime's Misty Cloud Sect Wind-based Dou Techniques.]

[Skills include: Wind Wall, Wind's Zenith: Meteorite Kill, Wind's Zenith: Setting Sun's Radiance, Myriad Wind's Entanglement, Great Wind Palm Seal, Great Sorrow Tearing Wind Hand, Wind Annihilation Blade, and Violent Gale Dance.]

[Skills will be automatically converted to be chakra-driven.]

'Not bad!'

Qianyu nodded, pleased.

The skills were powered by chakra. His chakra was… infinite.

That meant these Wind skills could unleash power far beyond their anime versions in his hands.

What satisfied Qianyu most was how damn cool these skills looked when used.

Strong or not, they were stylish as hell.

Besides, skills from a xuanhuan series would be more than enough to handle things in the world of Naruto.

"Alright, kids!" he declared, a spark in his eyes. "Today, I'm teaching you Wind Style ninjutsu!"

Qianyu was itching to try out his newly acquired skills himself.

"Why does sensei look more excited than us?" Hinata Tenri wondered aloud. She watched Qianyu, who suddenly seemed pumped full of adrenaline. He wasn't this fired up before.

"Perhaps sensei is looking forward to us growing stronger!" Akino Shinya said, clenching his fists, his eyes gleaming with fervor. "I won't let him down!"

Hinata Tenri gritted her teeth. Damn it! This guy stole her line!

Wind Wall was both an offensive and defensive skill.

A violent gale would shake the sky, forming a massive, deep cyan wind barrier that seemed to stretch across half the horizon. It could be used to push forward or to defend.

Qianyu decided to start with the basics.

"Before practicing more advanced Wind techniques, try this one first!"

He stood before them and raised a hand.

WHOOSH!

A violent wind erupted. A gigantic wind wall materialized before him, thrusting skyward. Itachi and the others couldn't even see its top.

The next moment, the wall surged forward. Under its immense pressure, grass and trees were uprooted and instantly obliterated.

"That's… so strong!" Hinata Tenri blurted out, stunned.

The [Adept Teacher] skill deconstructed [Wind Wall] into a ninja-teaching module. Qianyu just needed to follow the steps and explain them to the three kids.

A moment later.

After much persuasion from Qianyu, Itachi finally, reluctantly, placed his inseparable little brother Sasuke on the grass, letting the future Uchiha avenger play freely.

"Wind Style: Wind Wall!"

Itachi recalled Qianyu's explanation, focusing intently as he formed the hand seals. A wind wall several meters tall coalesced before him.

Qianyu watched. His eye twitched.

He'd only taught it once, and Itachi had already mastered it.

"This is the gap between genius and mediocrity," the System added, twisting the knife.

"And who's the mediocrity?" Qianyu's smile was deceptively pleasant.

"…"

The System corrected itself. "Hinata Tenri."

"?"

Qianyu followed the System's cue and looked at Tenri.

"Wind Style: Wind Wall!"

Hinata Tenri stood on the other side, her pose full of dramatic flair.

"Fwoosh!"

A tiny, cool breeze swept over everyone.

Hinata Tenri froze like a statue in the winter chill, her face a mask of pure shock.

Impossible!

She couldn't not learn this! Itachi did it! How could she fail?

Tenri stubbornly stayed in place, conjuring one tiny air vortex after another.

Meanwhile, after failing once, Akino Shinya proactively approached Itachi.

"Itachi, can you tell me how you did that?"

Why didn't Shinya just ask Qianyu? He felt a fellow student might explain another student's problem better. He definitely wasn't worried about bothering his sensei.

"Like this!"

"And then like this!"

Itachi gestured twice. On the spot, the wind wall formed again—bigger than last time.

"…"

Akino Shinya silently returned to his own spot. He figured he'd just practice on his own.

Shinya put his brain to work, analyzing the nuances, and soon formed a complete wind wall himself.

Qianyu nodded approvingly. The Third Hokage hadn't screwed him over. The students were talented.

"Haa!"

"Haa!"

Hinata Tenri was still blowing breezes.

"…"

Qianyu's smile stiffened. He took back his last thought.

"Ahem… let's learn the second jutsu first. You can practice on your own later," Qianyu interrupted the struggling Tenri.

Hinata Tenri's gaze burned into him. That last jutsu was clearly incompatible with her destiny! This next one, she would be the first to master it!

Compared to other skills in the set, Violent Gale Dance was a bit simpler.

Qianyu first demonstrated the full version as usual. His figure appeared high above a dense forest far from them, the space around him rippling faintly.

Suddenly, countless deep cyan wind blades, each dozens of meters long, materialized out of thin air. They intertwined, forming a spiraling, high-speed cylinder bristling with blades that shot forward with devastating force.

Another round of earth-shattering destruction followed.

Hinata Tenri was a mature ninja now. She wouldn't gasp in awe just because it was her first time seeing something spectacular.

"Alright, you try!"

After demonstrating the process laid out by the [Adept Teacher] skill, Qianyu looked at them.

Akino Shinya moved first. His hand seals weren't fast, but they were steady and focused.

"Wind Style: Violent Gale Dance!"

Small wind vortices swirled around him. A smile touched Shinya's lips.

Qianyu was surprised. He'd long known about Itachi's monstrous talent. But for Shinya to have such high comprehension was genuinely unexpected.

Of course, Hinata Tenri's… lack of sensitivity to ninjutsu was also unexpected.

She still hadn't learned this second jutsu.

Itachi and Shinya were already working on strengthening the technique, while Tenri was still stuck in the learning phase. With zero results.

Looking at Tenri's forced smile, Qianyu was reminded of his own embarrassing attempts at learning shurikenjutsu.

Instantly, he wanted to see Tenri even less. No particular reason. He just didn't want to recall his own dark history.

The Hyuga clan had always prioritized their Gentle Fist taijutsu. Few learned elemental ninjutsu beyond the basics. It was normal for Tenri to be a bit slow on the uptake.

She left with Itachi and Shinya, shoulders slumped in dejection.

Qianyu's shadow stretched long across the lawn. The setting sun edged the horizon with a brilliant gold.

He bought a flower basket and headed for Konoha's cemetery.

After sweeping Takenouchi's grave and placing fresh flowers, he went in another direction.

When he reached Minato's grave, someone else was already there.

A head of spiky silver hair. It had to be Kakashi.

"Lord Hokage," Kakashi acknowledged his presence.

"Why not go see little Naruto?" Qianyu asked bluntly.

Kakashi stiffened. After a long moment, his mouth opened. "I…"

Qianyu didn't wait for the rest. "Go see him, Kakashi. He'll like you."

He hadn't understood Kakashi's actions before. But after being entrusted by Kushina and Minato himself, he understood Kakashi's feelings.

Like Kakashi, he'd witnessed Kushina's entire pregnancy and delivery. They'd both been bodyguards for the unborn child. They'd both held high hopes for this baby.

But the child's birth was tied to Minato and Kushina's deaths. Even knowing it wasn't Naruto's fault, a barrier still formed in the heart.

Qianyu had his god's-eye view, so he avoided that trap. But Kakashi clearly didn't.

In his world, everyone important to him died, one after another. Finally, even his beloved teacher and his wife were gone. For this child suddenly left behind… Kakashi truly couldn't make the same choice Qianyu had.

He couldn't make that choice. Even his Sharingan could become a tool to harm the child.

Complex reasons had kept him from visiting even once since Naruto's birth.

"There's no need, Lord Hokage. I…" Kakashi reflexively refused.

"Kakashi, Naruto is the legacy of Minato-sensei and Kushina-san. The person they valued more than their own lives. Do you really not want to see him?" Qianyu's smile was light, his tone gentle. "I remember you were looking forward to him before he was born."

"Besides, with me here, there won't be any trouble or rumors."

[Ding! Favorability for Target Kakashi Hatake has reached 100!]

Kakashi froze, then lowered his gaze. The names 'Minato' and 'Kushina' were carved into the stone before him.

"Alright," Kakashi nodded.

Hanzo had finished making dinner and was feeding little Naruto his formula when Qianyu and Kakashi arrived home.

Kakashi stood in the living room, his steps hesitant. His heart was a nervous wreck. His palms were even sweating.

"…"

Qianyu watched Kakashi, whose feet seemed superglued to the floor, and felt a wave of exasperation. Bro, it's a baby. How scary can he be?

Under Qianyu's death stare, Kakashi finally took a brave step forward.

Hanzo, holding Naruto, shot Kakashi a glance, then looked away.

Little Naruto was thriving under Hanzo's care—plump, fair, and full of energy. He waved a chubby fist and smacked it right into Kakashi's approaching face.

"…"

Kakashi stared at the little chubby bundle. Something icy inside him began to melt.

"Wa-la-la-la…"

Little Naruto waved his fists, his big, watery eyes fixed on Qianyu.

"He wants you to hold him," Hanzo translated.

"Let Kakashi hold him," Qianyu decisively assigned the critical task.

"!"

Kakashi's dead-fish eyes widened instantly. He fumbled awkwardly as Hanzo deposited Naruto into his arms, his whole being radiating pure, unadulterated panic.

Following Hanzo's instructions, Kakashi supported Naruto's bottom.

Suddenly, Kakashi's pupils dilated. A unique scent began wafting from his palm.

"He didn't just…" Kakashi swallowed, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

"Don't doubt it. He peed," Hanzo stated flatly.

"!"

Kakashi.exe had stopped working.

The New Year arrived amid the sound of firecrackers in Konoha.

Everyone wore bright smiles. The streets were packed. Fireworks bloomed in the night sky. Colored lanterns hung all over the village.

Qianyu had given all staff a holiday.

"It's so lively!" Qianyu stood amidst the crowd.

From time to time, children came up to give him gifts. Each one was adorable, like a little jade carving.

"Oof!"

A little bundle of a kid fell on his bottom right in front of Qianyu.

Qianyu's gaze drifted down.

Neji was rubbing his own head with chubby little hands.

"Tea…cher…" Neji recalled the term his father had taught him, enunciating each syllable.

Qianyu picked Neji up. "Good boy!"

[Ding! Favorability for Target Neji Hyuga has reached 90!]

Qianyu paused. Then he scooped Neji up into his arms.

[Ding! Favorability for Target Neji Hyuga has reached 100!]

Well then. For that maxed-out Favorability, he'd reluctantly serve as Neji's personal seat for a bit.

"Daddy…" Neji called out from Qianyu's arms, pointing forward.

Hizashi, who had been worried about his child, finally relaxed.

"Lord Hokage," Hizashi greeted, reaching out to take Neji back.

"Hizashi-sensei, it's the first day of the New Year. No need for 'Hokage,'" Qianyu smiled, bouncing Neji slightly. "Besides, just let me hold my disciple for a bit!"

A smile appeared on Hizashi's face, and he retracted his hand.

"Hizashi-sensei, how are things within the Hyuga clan?" Qianyu asked as they walked.

The Hyuga reform had started long ago, but Qianyu had publicly announced his support for Clan Head Hiashi's decisions. So, the internal reforms were still entirely under Hiashi's purview.

"The clan has changed a lot. While the older generation's mindset is hard to shift, the younger generation has fully accepted it," Hizashi said with a touch of emotion.

He never imagined the Hyuga would truly walk the path of reform.

The line between the Main and Branch Houses would slowly blur. The Caged Bird Seal would be erased from the world. From now on, there would only be the Hyuga of the Byakugan, with no distinction between Main and Branch families.

Hizashi's gaze fell on Neji in Qianyu's arms, filled with a father's deep affection.

Neji would be a bird free to soar.
