The sound of the whistle signaled everyone that the second half finally began, and Goncalo Paciencia didn't wait for too long, pushing the ball back to Nabil Bentaleb. This action was followed by him, Fabian Reese, Benito Raman, Morita, and the two wingbacks on the flanks rushing, as they were ready to receive the long ball from the French midfielder.
BAM!
"OH! Yes, Nabil! What a pass!"
"Come on, Fabian! Kill him!"
The pass was sent to the left side, where Raphael Guerreiro was guarding that side. It was a deliberate move, as there was a 17 cm difference in height between the Portuguese wingback and Fabian Reese, giving the blonde winger a great advantage to win the ball.
True enough, he won the aerial duel so easily, sending the ball to the middle where Morita had already arrived. However, the Japanese midfielder didn't have any room at all, with Axel Witsel and Jude Bellingham surrounding him instantly.
