* For anyone still reading , I need to know if you guys want the system to expand beyond silently giving rewards and explaining them.
* For example , getting a class as a reward allows the MC to obtain a status which develops as a separate existence birthed from the sign in system.
* It's fifty-fifty for me coz I like the concept of having a class but I feel like it may ruin the story so I leave it up to whoever is reading.

That was the only way to describe the people of Transylvania.
Honestly , Riley had tried as hard as possible to lower his expectations , but it didn't help at all when the horses finally trotted into the town.
Every strange look they had gotten on the way here did absolutely nothing to prepare them for the glares and off putting looks that the townspeople had as they begun to circle them.
Riley quietly walked besides the horses chewing gum and listening to Carl pester Van Hellsing about his complete lack of memories.
And even when the villages begun surrounding them , he forced himself to ignore and tolerate them then followed behind the two , looking completely out of place with his white shorts and newly changed black shirt.
The Victorian period he was currently in didn't really have the best hygiene conditions , but thankfully he didn't sweat so he had been managing with the occassional baths and daily cloth changes.
Even then , his very healthy clear skin , incredible cute face and very clean clothes made him stick out in a place like this for sure.
"What are we doing here anyway? Why is it so important to kill this Dracula anyway?" Asked Carl while nervously looking at the gathering crowd.
The difference between watching the scenes on screen and experiencing it were very clear as Riley could see the friar visibly sweating despite it being very cold.
Since Riley knew that the rest of this would probably be very boring he just kept pace besides Van Hellsing and extended his Observation Haki to search for the Brides of Dracula.
'Atleast they should be considered characters if I am right.'
With his current level of Haki , he found them in an instant and they seemed to be waiting for something while quietly circling nearby.
That something was clearly the Transylvanian princess who came out of the crowd and stepped onto the fountain.
She was about to say 'her line' when her gaze fell on Riley who was looking straight at her with a smile.
"Hey master , I think you should be talking to her instead." Said Riley as he pulled Van Hellsing's cloak.
"Would you stop calling me that already?" Hissed the monster hunter as he turned with his gaze kept low. It took Anna a second before she snapped out of the daze she was in.
"Let me see your faces." She commanded after collecting her thoughts once more.
"Why" "Because we don't trust strangers."
Riley by that point had completely forgotten his surroundings and was focused on the screen that Anna's arrival had opened.

Riley was very tempted to sign in right then but he decided to wait till the incoming Chaos was over.
By the time Riley closed the screen the villages were stepping back with Van Hellsing's hand on his gum but Riley tapped his leg to get his attention.
Stubborn as he is , he swatted Riley's hand and mumbled that it wasn't the time.
Riley just sighed then turned to Anna and with a smile said "For someone who has spent a long time doing this , your instincts are abit lacking."
After saying that he pointed at the sky behind her where three blurry shapes were gliding through the cold mist.
Van Hellsing immediately pulled out his cross bow and aimed right at them while Anna shouted for the villagers to get inside.
"You should start listening to me." Commented Riley as the figures swooped down much faster now having noticed that they had been discovered.
The Vampire brides twisted and turned midair as Van Hellsing's bolts shot towards them one after the other , then they split and circled around the town.
Despite the chaos around him , Riley was unbothered and just focused on the Vampires with a satisfied smile.

His thoughts were interrupted by a feeling of weightlessness then softness.
"You need to hide."
Much to Riley's surprise , it was Anna who had picked him up and was now carrying him to a hiding place with his face in her chest.
Riley had never really been a shy person but the suddenness of it all made him awkward and giddy at the same time.
That was until he heard a screech behind Anna and realized that she wouldn't be able to dodge the incoming Vampire with him in her arms.
Holding out a palm over Anna's shoulder , Riley gathered as much magical energy as he could in the blink of an eye behind her then added a wisp of his own which immediately ignited and sucked in the mist like ambient magic to fuel the magical flames.
The heat alone made Anna stop and turn , witnessing a basketball sized ball of flames shoot towards the Vampire and wash over her.
It was the younger bride who got hit and , probably due to being a Vampire , the effect was immediate as her skin blackened and she screamed hard then lost control and crashed into a nearby house.
The other two Brides immediately hissed louder then split ways circling Van Hellsing , Anna , Carl and Riley who were the only ones still on the street.
"Marishka , finish off the stranger quickly." Hissed the older one before diving straight towards Anna.
"Hey kid , protect the princess." Shouted Van Hellsing while shooting at the second bride who circled him.
'Come to think of it , the revolver would probably be better right now.' Realized Riley when he saw Van Hellsing struggling just like cannon.
Willing the small case out of the inventory , Riley slid it towards Van Hellsing while shouting "Use this , one shot is enough just don't miss."
Riley had timed right when the bride was both out of range and out of ear shot so the case reached Van Hellsing without being snatched away like a certain flask of Holy water in the original plot.
After Van Hellsing got the case Riley turned back to his current transport who was now looking at him with wide confused and slightly suspicious eyes.
"Don't worry princess , as long as you carry me , we will be fine." Said Riley before he rested his cheek on her soft chest with a satisfied sigh.
Another screech came from above prompting Anna to start running again but another burst of fire and painful scream stopped her in her tracks once again.
Even without his Observation Haki , Riley's natural senses could easily keep up with the Vampires so he tightly clung onto Anna to enjoy the comfort.
"Wha....are you doing that." Asked the princess cautiously.
"So soft." Mumbled Riley unconsciously before realizing he said that out loud.
Anna took a while to process what he mumbled then she also faintly flushed before prying Riley off her which broke him out of his blissful Haze.
"I mean.....yes it's me." Said Riley with his most innocent and cute smile on full blast.
