Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: Kiana, Even When Beaten, Will Still Charm

Kiana Kaslana's identity was, after all, very special. For Hua Yi, as someone of the opposite sex, to frequently interact with her, and even live together, could easily lead people to assume they were in a romantic relationship. Theresa Apocalypse was worried that Otto Apocalypse might take some undesirable actions based on this, putting Hua Yi in a dangerous situation.

Hua Yi probably guessed Theresa Apocalypse's concerns. At this moment, he didn't boast just because he was a Transmigrator who knew most of the Honkai World's plot developments, or because he had a supply system. He also didn't think that he, still lacking in strength, could boast. Hua Yi nodded as he had before.

Seeing his good attitude, Theresa Apocalypse felt like she was being the villain. After a brief hesitation, Theresa Apocalypse spoke.

"Do you have any requests? If it's not too much, I might be able to fulfill them. After all, without you, Kiana Kaslana, who carelessly lost her bank card, would indeed suffer quite a bit."

"In that case, I wish for World Peace."

"I told you not to be too much! You're actually making a wish now, do you think I'm a Divine Being?"

"Alright then, a different one… But if I think about it carefully, according to you, the wishes I want to fulfill all seem pretty excessive. The only one that isn't too excessive would be—"

Seeing Hua Yi's hesitant manner, Theresa Apocalypse grew a little curious.

"What is it?"

"Young lady, I think you're quite cute. How about you Charm me?"

Hearing Hua Yi's words, Theresa Apocalypse's face stiffened, and she couldn't help but clench her fists. However, aside from the disrespectful and frivolous request at the end, the comment could generally be taken as a compliment. Theresa Apocalypse finally managed to resist punching Hua Yi in the face.

She turned and left. If he didn't want to make a proper request, so be it. Theresa Apocalypse's patience had its limits.

Quietly watching Theresa Apocalypse's retreating figure until she completely disappeared from sight, Hua Yi returned to the dormitory building. Seeing Kiana Kaslana still grimacing and clutching her head, he couldn't help but smile.

"Does it hurt a lot?"

"Yeah, hurry and help me figure something out. If it's like this, I won't be able to sleep well tonight. I might wake up in pain just by rolling over."

Kiana Kaslana's concerns were indeed special, and Hua Yi, somewhat accustomed to it, didn't complain. He moved closer to the girl.

"Lower your head, let me see."

"Oh."

As expected of someone capable of wielding the heavy [Oath of Judah] as a launcher, Theresa Apocalypse's strength was not to be underestimated. Even though she had held back considerably, Kiana Kaslana still had a swollen bump on her head.

It wasn't that Theresa Apocalypse had been overly aggressive; given Kiana Kaslana's previous attitude, it would have been impossible to make her listen to Theresa Apocalypse without letting her suffer a little.

"I'll go get some ice for you to apply. That will speed up the healing of those ruptured capillaries and relieve the pain. You go back to your room and lie down for now."

"Mmhmm, hurry up."

Kiana Kaslana was now somewhat accustomed to Hua Yi's care. Unlike the rebellious girl full of defiance she was in front of Theresa Apocalypse, Kiana Kaslana now seemed very obedient.

Perhaps, she wasn't simply being rebellious just now, but rather some delicate emotions had been overlooked by Theresa Apocalypse?

This thought flashed through Hua Yi's mind, then he quickly dismissed it. Anyway, given Kiana Kaslana's personality, unless the other party was a true villain,

she would never hold a grudge against anyone. Although there was a small conflict with Theresa Apocalypse this time, it was likely they would become much closer the next time they met. As the saying goes, "no discord, no concord."

Hua Yi went upstairs with clean, swift movements, taking out the ice from his dorm's refrigerator. He originally intended to wrap the ice in a towel and apply it to Kiana Kaslana's head,

but then he thought that wouldn't be perfect and would also be inconvenient in various ways. So, he stretched out a finger and pressed gently.

The hard ice shattered under Hua Yi's grip, and with his extremely high control over his strength, it didn't splash out, but was slowly ground into powder by the undiminished immense force. After that, Hua Yi found some plastic wrap and wrapped the crushed ice with a little water inside.

"Here, hold this to the swollen area yourself. It will take effect within ten minutes."

Returning to Kiana Kaslana's dorm, Hua Yi handed the small, unusual ice pack to the girl. Kiana Kaslana didn't realize what hidden ingenuity the ice pack contained. Tormented by pain for a while, she quickly pressed it to the top of her head.

"Hiss, cold, cold, cold…"

"It's supposed to be cold. It's an ice pack, after all. But be careful not to get frostbite."

"Frostbite? How do you get frostbite?"

Kiana Kaslana was bewildered. Even treating a small bump had so many considerations; it was truly troublesome.

Without waiting for Hua Yi to answer, the girl, who didn't want to waste energy on trivial matters, continued.

"Why don't you apply it for me? It's only for less than ten minutes, please, please."

Seeing Kiana Kaslana in such a posture, Hua Yi was a little surprised.

"Are you Charm-ing me?"

"Is that not allowed?"

"It's not not allowed."

Applying ice naturally meant sticking the ice pack closely to the affected area. Kiana Kaslana had a swollen bump on her head, and there was no way to secure the ice pack, so she needed to hold it herself.

Hua Yi moved a chair and sat by Kiana Kaslana's bed. The girl was currently sitting up, her clothes neat. Hua Yi couldn't appreciate any ambiguous scenery, but their distance was somewhat intimate.

Kiana Kaslana didn't notice it for a while, muttering complaints about Theresa Apocalypse's violence, while Hua Yi occasionally responded as if coaxing a child. After maintaining this for three or four minutes, Kiana Kaslana finally realized the current situation and became reserved.

"…Okay, it doesn't hurt anymore. You don't need to hold the ice pack for me."

Scanning Kiana Kaslana's injured area and finding that it had indeed healed faster than expected, Hua Yi didn't say much. He put away the ice pack and then carefully took a dry towel to help Kiana Kaslana wipe her slightly damp hair, deliberately avoiding the injured spot.

Kiana Kaslana was unusually quiet. Hua Yi's action was a bit like patting her head. Only her father had ever patted her head before, but the feeling was very different between the two.

When her father patted her head, she felt warmth and happiness, but when Hua Yi patted her head, she felt very awkward.

But that feeling wasn't unpleasant.
