A few days ago, I was talking with a friend about the fact that I had been uploading translated fanfictions and that I had created a Patreon related to it. I mentioned that it was a fairly common practice, something many people did. However, he said something that made me reflect: just because many people do it does not necessarily mean it is right.
Since then, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Deep down, it was something I already knew. Although the reason I started uploading these translations was because I wanted other people to enjoy stories that I truly consider wonderful, that does not change the fact that there was also a hope of gaining some financial benefit through Patreon.
And that weighs on me even more deeply because, honestly, my original intention was always to share these great stories with more people, not to turn them into something I could profit from.
For that reason, I have decided to take down the Patreon and make something of a fresh start, or a cleansing of my image, so to speak.
On top of that, I have also been rereading the first chapters I uploaded, and I realized that they are not as good as they should be. In some cases, I feel they do not fully capture the original feeling of the work, though it is also possible that I am simply overthinking the original text too much.

With all of this in mind, I wanted to let you know that I will be taking a few days away to clear my head a little. Though, to be honest, it will not be a complete break, since I will actually be retranslating the stories during that time.
Unfortunately, this means that many of your valuable paragraph comments will be lost, and in my opinion, those comments also gave life to the stories. Because of that, when I publish the new translations, I would kindly ask you to take some time, if you can, to read through the changes and look over this new version.
I do not know exactly how long this process will take. It may be only a few days, or it may take a few weeks. Even so, I do not think it will take too long, since I already have some chapters prepared.
