Devon spun so fast he nearly lost his balance.
A wolf beast had leapt at him, jaw wide open with multiple razor-sharp teeth ready to rip him to shreds. He couldn't dodge in time—so he resorted to coating his arms in flames.
BOOOOMM!
Flames covered him like a suit of armour, condensing until it was hard enough to protect him. The force from the wolf slamming into him caused an explosion that sent both of them hurtling in opposite directions.
The S-Rank skidded through the ground, spreading out his hands in preparation.
Several dragonfly beasts suddenly decided he was one of the main threats, swarming to him from virtually every direction.
Viktor managed to shoot some down with ice spears, but they were relentless.
