Chapter 29 - Chapter 26: Awakening Under Pressure (End of Volume 3)

The Sacred Grounds trembled as two forces stood against each other in complete silence. The air itself felt heavy, vibrating with the clash of Thawai. Lanthaba stood at the center of the clearing, his chest rising and falling steadily, his eyes locked onto Naopa Sandreibam. Behind him, his summons manifested fully—Tank hovered like an unbreakable fortress, Meiraton burned with intense, controlled flames, and the Poison Snakes slithered across the ground with deadly precision. These were not just techniques. They were his emotions given form.

Naopa stood opposite him, calm and unmoving. His serious expression showed no fear, no hesitation—only calculation. His body shimmered faintly as if waiting for the perfect moment to change. The Sandreibam family's power, Solid Mutation, rested within him like a silent weapon.

For a few seconds, neither of them moved.

Then Naopa spoke.

"You've stabilized your flow," he said quietly, his sharp eyes studying Lanthaba. "But that alone is not enough."

Lanthaba exhaled slowly, tightening his fists. "I don't need it to be enough," he replied. "I just need it to work."

Naopa didn't respond. Instead, he stepped forward.

In an instant, his body transformed into a dense metallic alloy. The ground cracked beneath his feet as he moved. Then he vanished.

Lanthaba's eyes widened slightly. "Fast—!"

Naopa appeared directly in front of him, his fist already descending. Lanthaba reacted immediately, activating his Anti-Gravity System. His body shifted backward, becoming lighter—

—but Naopa's arm suddenly changed mid-strike, turning flexible like hardened rubber, extending and striking Lanthaba across the chest.

"Ghh—!"

The impact sent Lanthaba flying. He crashed into the ground, rolling before stopping himself using gravity control. Before he could fully recover, Naopa was already advancing again.

"Meiraton!" Lanthaba shouted.

The fire entity surged forward, releasing a concentrated wave of flames. At the same time, the Poison Snakes lunged from both sides, their fangs aimed at Naopa's limbs and neck.

Naopa didn't panic.

His body shifted instantly—stone first, absorbing the heat, then crystal, reflecting the flames outward. The fire split around him, distorting the air. As the snakes struck, his body changed again, isolating the venom and discarding affected parts before reforming seamlessly.

"Your attacks are predictable," Naopa said calmly.

Lanthaba clenched his teeth. "Then try this."

The Anti-Gravity field around him intensified. Pieces of broken ground lifted into the air, spinning slowly. With a sharp motion, Lanthaba sent them crashing down toward Naopa.

Naopa raised his arm. His body turned into a dense alloy again, absorbing the impact as the debris shattered against him.

Then he moved.

Too fast.

Before Lanthaba could react, Naopa closed the distance and struck him again, this time with overwhelming force.

The ground exploded beneath Lanthaba as he was driven down.

For a moment, everything went quiet.

Lanthaba lay there, his vision shaking. His summons flickered slightly.

"…Why…" he muttered.

Naopa stopped a few steps away, his body returning to normal.

"Because you're still unstable," he said.

Lanthaba slowly turned his head.

"You rely on negative emotions," Naopa continued. "But you don't control them. You let them surge. That's why your timing is off."

Lanthaba tightened his grip against the ground. "So what? That's my power."

"No," Naopa replied firmly. "That's your weakness."

Those words hit harder than any attack.

For a brief moment, Lanthaba said nothing.

Then he slowly closed his eyes.

Inside him, the emotions were still there—anger, frustration, determination—but instead of clashing, he began to guide them. Not suppress. Not explode.

Control.

His breathing steadied.

E-FLUX responded.

The chaotic fluctuations began to align.

When Lanthaba opened his eyes again, they were calm.

Different.

"I see…" he said quietly.

Naopa watched him closely. "…Show me."

Lanthaba stood up slowly. Around him, the Anti-Gravity field stabilized. Small fragments of stone floated in perfect balance, rotating with precision.

Then he moved.

In an instant, he appeared in front of Naopa—not recklessly, but with perfect timing.

Naopa reacted immediately, his body turning into alloy.

But Lanthaba had already adapted.

The gravity around Naopa suddenly increased—but only on one side.

Naopa's balance shifted slightly.

That moment—

Lanthaba struck.

His fist connected cleanly, forcing Naopa backward. The ground cracked beneath Naopa's feet as he slid a few meters.

For the first time, Naopa stopped.

"…Good," he said.

The battle intensified.

"Tank—support!" Lanthaba commanded.

Tank moved instantly, reinforcing Lanthaba's position. Meiraton launched controlled bursts of fire, while the Poison Snakes attacked in coordinated patterns.

Lanthaba moved in sync with them, drawing small portions of their power into himself. His movements became sharper, faster, more efficient.

Naopa adapted.

Metal. Stone. Crystal. Wood.

Each transformation came at the perfect moment, countering every attack with precision.

"You've improved," Naopa said, blocking another strike. "But you're still thinking too much about offense."

Lanthaba smirked slightly. "And you're thinking too much about defense."

He shifted gravity again—this time beneath Naopa's feet, destabilizing the ground itself.

Naopa reacted instantly, switching to a lighter material to avoid sinking.

But that was exactly what Lanthaba wanted.

"Meiraton—now!"

A concentrated blast of fire hit Naopa directly.

For a brief second—

He was engulfed.

But then—

Naopa stepped out of the flames.

His body had shifted again—charred wood turning instantly into stone, minimizing the damage.

"…You're learning," he said.

Then his expression hardened slightly.

"But this is where it ends."

His body began to change—

Not into metal.

Not into stone.

Something else.

Something denser.

Lanthaba felt it instantly.

Danger.

He moved to react—

But Naopa was faster.

In a single motion, he closed the distance and struck.

Everything went silent.

The Anti-Gravity field collapsed.

Tank shattered into fragments of energy.

Meiraton extinguished.

The Poison Snakes vanished.

Lanthaba's body was sent crashing into the ground.

Dust filled the air.

When it cleared—

He was lying there, unable to move.

The fight was over.

Naopa stood above him, his body returning to normal.

"…You have potential," he said calmly. "But you are not ready yet."

Lanthaba stared up at the sky, breathing heavily.

"…Yeah…" he said quietly. "I know."

Footsteps approached.

Leiphunglapkpa stopped beside them, his gaze calm but deep.

"…Good," he said.

Naopa stepped back respectfully.

Leiphunglapkpa looked at Lanthaba. "You felt it, didn't you?"

Lanthaba nodded slightly. "Yeah… I did."

"Then remember it," Leiphunglapkpa said. "Because from tomorrow—your real training begins."

Far away, in the corrupted lands of Lairois Leipak, the atmosphere was completely different.

The sky twisted unnaturally, filled with chaotic Thawai. The ground pulsed like something alive. At the center stood the massive Dragon-Lion Beast, its roar echoing across the land.

Before it, six figures gathered.

Mitamcha stepped forward, his presence overwhelming.

"It has begun," he said.

Tonin smirked. "The Tool is ready."

Keiba remained silent, watching everything carefully.

Hingthoileima stepped forward, her aura ancient and terrifying.

"…The time has come. Mastet what is the next step?"

Mitamcha nodded. "Yes. We can done the rituals for resurrections."

Boicha frowned slightly. "So it's true…?"

Mitamcha raised his hand.

"The ancient contract will be fulfilled. And the Golden Period."

Energy began to gather around Hingthoileima.

"The previous sorcerer," Mitamcha continued, "the one who formed the contract with her are going to reincarnated and began our new Golden Period"

Thangron stepped forward. "So we're really doing this, but Master does we have enough Reserve to resurrect all."

Tonin laughed softly. "Great, now we are going to do it, I was waiting for it about 1000 years."

Mitamcha's eyes gleamed.

"This era has grown weak," he said. "We will create a new one."

The Dragon-Lion Beast roared loudly.

"A Golden Event," Mitamcha declared.

The words echoed across Lairois Leipak.

"The beast will serve as the catalyst," he continued.

Hingthoileima's aura intensified, ancient symbols forming around her.

"This world will witness rebirth."

Far away in Thawai Leipak, Leiphunglapkpa was talking to Taibang Sana Heithoiba for the preparation of upcoming future

His expression changed slightly.

"I belive that they are going to do something really bad, So we have to prepare it Heithoiba"

In the sacred ground of Thawai Leipak, Yaikhomba and Lanthaba are focusing on their training but they didn't realised that something big is going on.
