In the end, everyone had no choice but to bite the bullet, forcing themselves to chew and swallow that disgusting pile of insects just to scrape together a bit of their remaining strength.
Just as the horrific meal ended, I thought our group would have some free time to rest and search for more clues. However, man proposes, but the Game Master disposes. The sky above suddenly changed in a bizarre manner. The pristine morning light of the newly dawning dawn was instantly and completely swallowed by a thick, pitch-black mass. In the blink of an eye, stars appeared simultaneously in dense clusters, twinkling against the dark backdrop as if an invisible hand had just brutally splattered ink across it.
That surreal sight left us completely stunned, frozen in place. Chu Hao Cheng turned to look at me, his face visibly pale with shock, his voice cracking with panic:
-"Why did it... suddenly get so dark?!"
Amidst the chaos of the players, the Game Master remained nonchalantly perched on the high tree branch. He lazily let out a long stretch, his tone sounding so calm it was blood-chilling:
-"Congratulations to all players for successfully surviving the voting session. And now, the second night officially begins! Please return to your respective numbered tents and go to sleep. The rules remain the same: no leaving your tents, no looking outside..."
Everyone looked at each other in utter terror and helplessness. How had darkness fallen so quickly? Time in this wretched place seemed to be warped at the absolute whim of that demon.
Yet, the vortex of survival did not grant us even a single second to question. The cold darkness had begun to envelop everything, and the looming pressure of death forced everyone to scramble and head straight for their own tents. I, too, quickly stepped inside mine, bracing myself to endure yet another haunted night of horror - a long night where the line between life and death was thinner than ever...
