Chapter 72 - Chapter 71: Interrogation

"Sister, is that enough?"

Noah Miller had no idea how things had ended up in such a strange position. Evelyn Miller sat straddling his lower abdomen, her fair feet pressed against his cheeks. The woman smiled down at him, clearly very satisfied with the way she was toying with him.

"Do you really not like it?" Evelyn Miller's smile melted through her eyes, carrying a penetrating, bone-deep allure. "Your face is already this red, yet Nate still insists on being stubborn?"

Noah Miller instinctively turned his head, trying to escape her direct gaze, but his face ended up pressed right against the top of her foot. Her feet were pale with a faint pink tint, cool and smooth to the touch, her toenails neatly trimmed like flawless ivory.

"I… I really don't feel that way. Get down already."

"No. Sister isn't satisfied yet." She folded her legs back and leaned forward, cupping Noah Miller's face with both hands. "Then Sister will just have to fuck you until you behave."

Noah Miller shifted, attempting to struggle. "Eve, you're a university professor. How can you talk like that?"

"You're lecturing Sister now? Worry about your own situation first."

"It's almost dinnertime. Can we finish this later tonight…"

"No talking back. Lie there obediently."

Evelyn Miller kissed Noah Miller on the lips. Her soft lips sealed against his, flooding his mouth with a sweet, heavy fragrance that acted like a catalyst for desire. Their clothes were stripped away piece by piece.

The final glow of sunset was blocked by the curtains, leaving the room dim. Evelyn Miller licked the corner of her lips. Her breathtaking face bloomed with a poisonous, enchanting allure. "Cold? Should Sister turn the heat on?"

"Mmm…"

She picked up the remote and turned on the heater. Warm air brushed over her snow-white, delicate skin, bringing a soft flush. The intimate entanglement between their bodies grew heavier with rising hunger. She wrapped her arms around the boy's neck as her full, soft breasts pressed down firmly.

"Nate, hug Sister."

Noah Miller circled his arms around Evelyn Miller's back, holding her body close. "Sister, I want it too…"

"My little fool. Here, take it. Sister will give you everything."

...

After dusk gave way to night, streetlights flickered on along the road. People who had finished dinner strolled through the apartment complex. Teenagers played on the basketball court while children laughed and chased each other around.

"Why bring him out?" Evelyn Miller asked, watching Carrot bounding ahead of them.

"I wanted Carrot to get some fresh air. Grandpa Ellis hardly ever walks him. He must be going stir-crazy cooped up all day."

"I thought it would be just the two of us. This ruins the mood."

"Eve." Noah Miller glanced sideways at her. Evelyn Miller pursed her soft pink lips, looking a little sulky. "You can't actually be jealous of Carrot, can you?"

"What does Nate think?" She smiled, her gaze settling on his profile. "You're the pet Sister raised herself, yet you're worrying about someone else's dog."

"I'm not… Don't say that kind of thing outside. I won't bring Carrot next time."

Evelyn Miller reached out and stroked his hair gently. "I was only joking. I didn't say you couldn't bring him."

An old bench sat beside the park. The usual outdoor fitness equipment was occupied by elderly people stretching and energetic kids playing. Not far away, a group of middle-aged women were line dancing to loud music, while people out for evening walks kept passing by.

"Thirsty? Sister will go buy some bubble tea."

"Sure. Mango flavor for me."

A bubble tea shop sat right across from the apartment complex in a busy spot, just over a hundred meters from the park. Business was brisk, with a line forming at the door.

Once Evelyn Miller left, Noah Miller sat on the bench and checked his phone. In the dorm group chat, the guys were bragging about their standout plays in the game. His notifications were filled with a couple of friend birthdays and promotional ads.

He cleared the useless messages, locked the screen, and looked up to see Carrot wagging his tail, squatting obediently at a girl's feet and gnawing on the sausage she held out. Lila Vale happened to glance up at the same moment and spotted him.

She tossed the remaining half of the sausage to the dog and walked over, smiling gently at him. "Good evening."

"Uh, good evening. You're out walking too? Alone?" Noah Miller scratched his head, looking awkward.

During dinner, Lila Vale had texted asking if he wanted to go for a walk together. Evelyn Miller had seen the message. His sister hadn't said anything at the time, only looking at him with unusual gentleness before placing a piece of fish in his bowl.

But when she set the fish down, she suddenly gripped her fork tightly, splitting the soft white flesh in half.

"Mom and Dad both had things to do, and someone claimed he had diarrhea, so of course I'm alone." She sat down right next to Noah Miller, giving him a slightly resentful look.

"I… I felt better after eating, so I came out with Sister."

"Yeah, yeah. Evelyn Miller is the most important after all. I was even thinking of asking Carrot to accompany me, but he got taken away too."

"Sorry about that."

"Are you apologizing for taking Carrot, or for choosing to accompany Evelyn Miller instead of me?"

Noah Miller gave a helpless, bitter smile. He found the question impossible to answer.

Of course Sister was the most important. Especially now that they shared another kind of relationship, her matters took priority over almost everything else.

But he couldn't just tell Lila Vale directly that his sister mattered more than she did, that he would always choose Evelyn Miller first.

He glanced into the distance. Evelyn Miller's tall, slender figure stood at the very end of the line outside the bubble tea shop, her long legs looking beautiful from any angle.

When they were children, Lila Vale used to call Evelyn Miller "sister" as well. Back then, at least on the surface, Evelyn Miller hadn't been so cold toward her. Children's hearts were simple and innocent, and the relationship between the three of them had been warm and peaceful.

At some point, Lila Vale had switched to calling her directly by name—"Evelyn Miller"—losing that polite warmth. Their relationship had grown cold, distant, and even hostile.

This made Noah Miller miss the past even more, when his sister didn't have such intense possessiveness and control over him, and when she and Lila Vale didn't look at each other with cold eyes.

"You don't look too well." The girl's voice pulled Noah Miller back from his thoughts. "You barely go out these days. Is Evelyn Miller bullying you at home?"

"No, no. It's probably… just that I haven't been sleeping well."

The things Evelyn Miller did to him could definitely count as bullying.

She even seemed to enjoy it, entangling with him every night until he could only catch up on sleep during the day.

Still, he couldn't put all the blame on his sister. With just a little provocation he would give in, often taking the initiative himself, face burning red as he did things he never would have imagined before.

"Not sleeping well… Were you playing games late into the night?" Lila Vale asked.

"Huh? Yeah, with my roommates."

"But I barely saw you online at night?" The girl stared at his face, her tone turning serious.

"I-I play League of Legends."

"That's what I meant." Lila Vale suddenly began pressing harder.

"We… um, switched servers…"

"I saw your roommates are still playing on the same server. You're the only one who's never online."
