His figure flickered, instantly appearing in front of the Mechanical Knight. With a single punch, his overbearing power blew the Dragon Knight's head apart, revealing the terrified Faust inside.
He cried out in terror: "This is impossible! What are you going to do?"
"Aren't you asking the obvious!"
Acnologia was not polite at all. He reached out and grabbed Faust by the hair, dragging him out of the cockpit and tossing him onto the ground.
He landed back on the ground and clapped his hands: "Job's done!"
Natsu and the other two watched, dumbfounded: "So fast!"
They weren't even on the same level. They had put in all their effort and barely scratched the Mechanical Knight, yet Acnologia one-shotted it with a single punch!
Wasn't this a bit too easy?
Irene descended from the sky back to the ground and walked toward Faust, her voice like ice: "Old man, you dared to toy with me. Have you thought about the price you'll pay?"
Looking at the panicked Faust, Irene prepared to send him to hell, but she was stopped by Acnologia. A puzzled expression appeared on her face.
"He's Mystogan's father. Leave him to that guy to handle."
Acnologia slapped Faust, sending him flying over a thousand meters. His old teeth were knocked out, and he coughed up blood, falling unconscious on the spot.
Irene was silent for a moment before nodding: "Then I'll spare his life."
Although Mystogan had broken ties with Faust, blood is thicker than water after all. She didn't want to sour her relationship with Mystogan over this back-pedaling old geezer.
Since the members of both the Aslant Fairy Tail and the Edolas Fairy Tail were out in full force, this war was much easier than in the original story and ended completely very quickly.
