Chapter 121 - Chapter 121: The End of Tenrou Island

The war was over, and everyone relaxed. After a short rest, they prepared to return to the camp.

Lucy looked at the people walking ahead and then at Natsu at her feet, and couldn't help but shout, "Hey, are you making me responsible for carrying Natsu?"

Happy flew over and said, "Don't worry, Lucy, I'll cheer you on from the side."

Lucy was speechless. "Can't you say you'll help?"

"Enchant, Strength."

Along with Sister Irene's voice, Lucy's spirits rose, and her entire body filled with infinite power. She lifted Natsu with one hand and said excitedly, "Sister Irene's Enchantment Magic is amazing!"

She looked at Irene, who had already walked far away, and ran over in a flash while carrying Natsu.

Soon, everyone arrived at the camp, set up tents and mats, and began treatment.

It was mainly the injuries sustained when their magic power was stolen. During that period, many people had been brutally beaten by the Seven Kin of Purgatory and almost died, even Gildarts.

Fortunately, Irene and Acnologia helped replenish their magic power in time, so there were no deaths.

Natsu opened his eyes, wrapped in bandages, and lay on the ground. "Speaking of which, where did Acnologia go? I haven't seen him since we defeated Hades."

Irene chuckled and said, "He was a bit hungry and said he was going to find a place for a big meal."

"What? He's having a big meal and didn't call me? We're the Fire Dragon Squad!"

Natsu was already imagining the feast, and he immediately began to drool.

Happy drooled, filled with envy. "I hope Acnologia brings me a fish."

Lucy couldn't help but say, "Don't you carry a fish around all day?"

"That's one I plan to give to Carla!"

"You simp cat!"

On the other side, Makarov looked at Laxus sitting on the ground and said softly, "You've finally returned safely!"

Suddenly, his head grew large, and he let out a loud Roar at the speechless Laxus, "You brat, did you think I would say that?"

"You idiot, you've already been expelled from the guild! How dare you set foot on Fairy Tail's sacred ground? Get lost!"

Laxus was sprayed in the face with spit. He wiped it off with his sleeve, turned his head, and twitched the corner of his mouth.

Levy smiled and tried to stop him, "Alright Master, don't scold Laxus anymore. He finally came back."

"We missed you so much!"

"It's great that you're okay..."

The three members of the Thunder God Tribe immediately lunged forward, hugging Laxus's head and crying uncontrollably.

Having not seen him for so long, they had imagined Laxus begging outside, not eating or sleeping well, and perhaps being carried away by a wild beast if he wasn't careful.

Laxus knew what they were thinking just by looking at them, and a helpless expression appeared on his face. "Are you guys okay?"

Hearing this, the three members of the Thunder God Tribe perked up and began to complain incessantly, as if the whole world had bullied them.

Gildarts looked at Laxus, walked over, put his arm around his shoulder, and gave a teasing smile, "You actually got expelled from the guild? Tell me, what happened?"

"I'm not telling you."

Laxus was helpless. Since when did the reliable old man become such a gossip?

After the two chatted for a bit, Gildarts prepared to find Wendy to recover from his injuries.

At this time, Lucy came over to call him. Cana was embarrassed, so she wanted Lucy to take Gildarts to a place with fewer people.

Gildarts was a bit confused. What did little Lucy want with him?

And why so secretive?

Soon, he met Cana who was waiting for him. With Lucy's encouragement, Cana told him about her past, and the father and daughter finally recognized each other.

However, Gildarts was indeed a bit of a scumbag; he used to have over twenty girlfriends, which almost made Cana die of anger.

After much talk, they finally reconciled completely.

After all, blood is thicker than water. Plus, Gildarts shared the same virtue as Acnologia—being thick-skinned enough to not let go of his daughter... On the other side, everyone lined up and waited for Wendy's treatment.

Levy smiled and said, "Thanks so much, Wendy. Sky Magic is indeed powerful."

"I didn't actually fight much, so I'm in good condition." Wendy waved her hand, acting as if she hadn't helped much.

Erza looked at the collapsed Tenrou Sacred Tree and said worriedly, "The sacred tree still hasn't been restored. Is it really okay?"

Lucy said, "It should be fine. Anyway, our magic power has been restored."

Suddenly, the ground trembled, and everyone looked up in alarm.

"An earthquake?"

"What happened?"

Then, they saw the Tenrou Tree in the distance being lifted by an invisible force, regaining its vitality as golden light showered down from the sky.

"Is Tenrou Island vibrating?"

"This is the power of healing."

Everyone watched as their wounds healed at a visible rate. They were astonished—who had restored the Tenrou Tree?

Irene frowned slightly. "The power of time... Is it the Arc of Time?"

But Ultear had left before the Tenrou Tree collapsed, and that magic power... Hades Prehecht!

That old guy must be crazy, sending people to knock down the Tenrou Tree and then restoring it himself.

Makarov also looked up at the horizon. Although it was far away, he was all too familiar with that magic power.

Thinking of the once kind old man, a smile of relief appeared on his face. He hoped the Master could return to his former self.

Hades Prehecht looked at the restored Tenrou Tree with a complex expression. He didn't know why he did it; perhaps it was just a sudden whim.

Remembering the hopeful and passionate gazes of Fairy Tail, a strange throbbing arose in his heart.

The scenes of founding the guild with Mavis and the others surfaced clearly in his mind.

"Master, what should we do now?"

Zancrow and the other five had gathered, either sitting or lying down. Everyone was heavily injured and exhausted.

Zancrow said, "Acnologia has already taken the Grimoire Heart, but the airship was left behind. Are we leaving Tenrou Island now?"

Bluenote sat on the ground, his expression unwilling. "I didn't expect Fairy Tail to have such experts. I'll eliminate them once I become stronger!"

Aznain said in a low voice, "We have already failed. It's a great kindness that they didn't kill us all. I don't want to be their enemy anymore."

Zancrow laughed and said, "I'm now more interested in that Fire Dragon Slayer Mage. I didn't expect the Dragon's Flame to actually rival my God's Flame."

Zancrow said, "Although I'm unwilling, I acknowledge them. If Master Hades gives the order, I will still strike without mercy."

Hikaru said softly, "I'll listen to the Master."

Hades looked at the airship in the sky and said calmly, "We'll talk about that later. I want to see Zeref."

After years of striving toward his goal, he couldn't bear the thought of not seeing it.
