It has been a long while since I last came before you. I beg your pardon. My slump has stretched on far longer than I expected. In truth, it feels as though it has never truly ended. I even tried writing an [Oshi no Ko] story I dearly favored, hoping to break through it, yet it seems little has improved... ha ha.
Even so, the reason I have come to you now is because of a suggestion from a friend. As some of you may know, that friend reads this work. Those who have seen my author afterwords will likely understand whom I mean. Though, not long ago, another friend of mine—one I have remained close to since middle school, and who is now serving in the military—also came to know of it... ha ha.
That friend suggested that I might serialize the side story I mentioned in my previous notice—the one in which Elius, having triumphed in another Holy Grail War, lives on together with Artoria after she has taken on flesh—as a means of overcoming this slump. If I do write it, it will likely proceed as an original episode.
And so I have posted this notice because I wished to hear your thoughts. Since this work is presently at a standstill, I have been wondering whether I ought to continue for a time through that side story instead. Ha ha...
I do not know whether any who read this will still be here after so long an absence, but if you are, I would be grateful to hear your opinion.
