Lizzy exhaled slowly. "We're going to need more space."
"More space can wait until tomorrow." Phantom mumbled, stepping forward and kissing her forehead. "Now that I understand the risks and dangers...I want to enjoy the time I have with you when I have it."
Lizzy wrapped her arms around Phantom's waist and leaned against him. His warmth and gentle nature was making every horrifying new piece of information better. "I want time with you, too. Both of you." She glanced over her shoulder at Vaelis, smiling softly. "You're right. Tomorrow we can focus on making more sleeping space, storage space, and maybe a root cellar for food storage. Which reminds me, when is winter here? Should we be stocking up?"
"Shush your mind." Vaelis grunted, stepping up until he was behind Lizzy. "You think so much."
"All the time." Lizzy mumbled, sighing against Phantom's chest. "I'm sorry."
