"WHAT!!!!!!?"
Philomina and Adira chorued together. They are back to the hospital again, yes again. Apparently, after Adira told Gideon off , they returned to their hostel apartment. It's consist of two bedrooms each with its washroom, a small kitchen, and a palm size living room.
After they enter their apartment, Mina continues to curse Gideon to calm her temper. Adira let out a small laugh and was about to join when a sudden nausea hit her. She rushed to her washroom, vomiting all the food she just ate. Mina came in asking Ira what was wrong with her while helping back to her bedroom.
Adira replied that she didn't know what was wrong with her and was about to explain further when she fainted.
Mina had to rush her to the hospital.
After a series of tests, the nurse came and said that Adira is pregnant, resulting in that reaction.
Adira and Mina look at each other at the same time and burst into laughter.
" You are not serious right" Mina asked in the midst of their laughter.
The nurse looks at these two ladies calmly letting them know that she is serious.
" This can't be, can you run the test again nurse because I can't possibly be pregnant. Am I the second Mary or what"
Ira said to the nurse with a panicky voice.
" Ok I will if that makes you feel certain" , the nurse replied and left the room.
Adira looks at Mina with a scared face.
" Mina, what if I'm really pregnant. What will I do, I mean it's not possible since I haven't had sex with any man before right. I am practically a virgin so how can I get pregnant. Mina I'm scared, they don't love me already and if this is to be true then they will find an excuse to finally throw me out of the house. Mina...."
" Calm down Ira, calm down okay. I know that you are a virgin and you can't be pregnant okay. Let's wait for the final test results. Here drink some water and calm okay. Just calm down, relax babe"
Mina tried to calm Ira down when she saw that she was about to panic.
She moved to sit beside her on the bed and started stroking her back in an attempt to calm her down.
After a few minutes, the nurse came in with the results and lo and behold, Adira is really pregnant for one month.
Adira looked at the nurse for a good one and half minutes and started crying. Mina tries to console her but to no avail.
They headed back home after the nurse gave them some necessary precautions and routine checkups.
What they don't know is that Collins heard everything. So she is the one who received the sperm. Lola will be mad if she comes to know this. Collin looks down at the two ladies from his floor and smirks. Ha,the fun and drama is about to unfold, gotta get some popcorn for this,he thought.
A phone call resonates in the room. Adira finally lifted her head for the first time since they returned. Her eyes are red from crying.
" Adira make sure you come home this weekend, it's your sister's birthday don't miss it"
Her mother said with a hurried voice without even checking if Adira is fine or not.
"Mom, I ...."
Adira really wanted to talk to her mom but her mother cut off the call before she could continue.
Adira looks at her phone quietly and tears begin to flow again.
"What should I do Mina , h.....how d....do I explain to people that I'm pregnant but still...still I'm a...a virgin"
Adira asks Mina with tears strolling down her cheeks.
Mina who is so confused and sad was about to reply when the bell rang. Who could it be at this time because it's 9pm ,so who could it be. She cut off her thoughts and went to open the door and there he stood, Aarez with his best friend, Raymond, the Raymond Cruz.
