Super Saiyan 3.
Officially, it's the last stage of the Super Saiyan numbering system.
There's even Super Saiyan 4 in GT, but that form requires the pure-blood Saiyan trait—a tail.
However, among all Saiyans born so far, none have a tail.
So no one really knows if Super Saiyan 4 can be achieved.
Besides, GT wasn't authored by the original creator, so its canonicity is debatable.
Officially, Super Saiyan numbering ends at 3.
"I never thought I'd see Super Saiyan 3. I assumed we wouldn't hit that stage until after the showdown with Kevin."
"Even so, I lost to Kevin wielding the Power of the End."
Yeah. Even in Super Saiyan 3—when my power multiplied by 400 times—I was still no match for Kevin.
To be precise, I beat him when he used Brama's power, but I couldn't overcome his dominion over the End.
In the first place, combat power in this world outstrips not only the collapsed original, but even the Dragon Ball canon.
The reason? It's because I, a higher-dimensional being, came to this world as a Saiyan, instantly cranking up the difficulty.
I heard this directly from the Honkai God of Destruction, so it has to be true.
"Can you maintain the transformation?"
"No problem."
Super Saiyan 3.
It grants immense power, but sustaining it devours enormous amounts of Ki. Even the base Super Saiyan form guzzles Ki, but up to Super Saiyan 2, it wasn't enough to hamper combat—and you could mitigate it with training. At level 3, things change.
How bad is it? In the original, just standing still and gathering Ki didn't cover the consumption rate. The form automatically dropped after a while.
Luckily, I've overcome that.
Strictly speaking, I found a different approach than the original.
Dragon Ball's training focuses heavily on external techniques.
They neglect internal energy, so while you can gather and use Ki, it's inefficient compared to internal cultivation.
That makes sense since Dragon Ball predates wuxia concepts, but modern internal-energy training actually originated in Korean martial arts.
By stacking internal energy through the dantian method, I mastered using Ki far more efficiently and even learned the art of manipulating the void.
The insights from external training fused with my internal cultivation, letting my cultivation level skyrocket.
The only downside is I have no one around to compare with, so I can't gauge my true rank. But thanks to internal training, Super Saiyan forms cost me nothing—and at Super Saiyan 3, I've reduced Ki consumption to what it was at Super Saiyan 1.
"Are you sure you're okay? You've even conquered the form's weaknesses at level three."
"It seems so."
My aunt chuckles at my answer.
"Is that all it takes—a mere level three?"
Her provocation makes me smile.
"...May I ask you something, Aunt?"
"Go ahead."
I quell the storm of Ki around me and ask.
"How much time have you spent in the simulator?"
You've grown so strong while targeting my exact weaknesses—it's hard to believe you did it through training alone.
There's only one explanation: the perfect-reproduction simulator I built on the Memory Battlefield.
I used Cheonmyeong's original Memory Battlefield and ancient Paradise tech to create it.
Thanks to that, I can call up recorded opponents, tweak the difficulty, and run dream matches.
Recently, I heard you even took your Freya Academy practical exam with this device.
When I mention it, Aunt smiles and says,
"I have no idea."
"…Excuse me?"
"Truly, I don't know. I never kept track of the hours. Maybe Amber remembers?"
All eyes turn to Amber.
Under countless gazes, Amber adjusts her sunglasses and replies calmly.
"Theresa Apocalypse used the simulator for four hours at a time on average, with a total of 10,218 hours, excluding minutes."
"10,218 hours?"
She squeezed in four hours of simulation training despite her busy schedule?
How much is 10,218 hours?
There are 8,760 hours in a year, so that's over a year—almost fourteen months of nonstop training.
But if you break it down as four hours daily, that's 1,460 hours a year… nearly seven years of daily dedication.
And you kept upgrading equipment as you went?
Honestly, I have to respect that.
I thought only Bianca could train like that, but maybe it really is Kaslana blood.
After all, Kiana and Siegfried Kaslana also train relentlessly.
"Looks like your Raging Heart form has changed."
"That's Exceed Mode. It's Raging Heart's enhanced form."
Exceed Mode.
If I recall, it's the third enhancement of Raging Heart.
It's a frame upgrade on the second form, Excelion Mode.
In essence, it's the completed Excelion form.
It likely incorporates a blaster system that pushes the user and device beyond their limits.
Bishop Otto Apocalypse had already finished STS-origin research.
If his genius had gone in the right direction… no, if that had happened, none of us here would likely exist.
Even if we did, we probably wouldn't know any of those people.
Honestly, every one of us here, directly or indirectly, owes something to Bishop Otto Apocalypse.
"Shall we give it a light test shot?"
[Load cartridge.]
"Yes."
No sooner do I see Raging Heart slide in the cartridge than I gather Ki.
Sparks fly and Ki erupts around her—maybe she realized I was right, because she fires a light bombardment just as she said.
"Excelion Buster!"
Now I watch a pink Honkai Energy beam streak toward me like a galaxy… and I can't help thinking,
…That's supposed to be light?
