Chapter 185 - Chapter 185 The Ambassador of the United States Visits

At the same moment, at the United States Embassy in Japan.

Richard Clement, the CIA's Tokyo Station Chief, was listening to his subordinate's report: "Sir, according to our intelligence, this Allen's abilities far exceed those of ordinary Ghouls."

Richard flipped through satellite photos: "Can you confirm his information?"

"There are no records," his subordinate shook his head, "It's as if he appeared out of thin air."

Richard pondered for a moment: "Contact the Pentagon and request the deployment of the Blackbird squad. Assets of this caliber must not fall into the hands of the Japanese."

"Yes, sir."

Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, Prime Minister's Official Residence emergency meeting room.

"Washuu-kun, are you sure that Allen personally declared war on all of Japan?" The Minister of Defense's forehead was covered in fine beads of sweat, and his fingers unconsciously tapped on the table.

Washuu Tsuneyoshi nodded with a grim expression: "He explicitly stated that he wants to challenge the entire nation's armed forces."

The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare suddenly stood up: "A National Security Council meeting must be convened immediately!"

"Wait," the Chief Cabinet Secretary pushed up his glasses, "Before taking action, we need to assess the risks. According to existing intelligence, this person's combat power far exceeds conventional military units."

The Prime Minister crossed his hands under his chin: "What is the Self-Defense Forces' opinion?"

The Minister of Defense wiped his sweat: "The Ground Self-Defense Force's Special Operations Group is already on standby, but considering the superhuman abilities the opponent has displayed, conventional weapons may have limited effectiveness."

The meeting room fell silent. Suddenly, a secretary rushed in: "Prime Minister, the United States Ambassador is requesting an urgent meeting."

The Prime Minister frowned, motioned for the secretary to ask the United States Ambassador to wait a moment, and turned to the ministers present, his voice low: "It seems things are more complicated than we imagined."

The Minister of Defense wiped the cold sweat from his forehead: "How did the Americans get the news so quickly?"

"That's not important," Washuu Tsuneyoshi said coldly, "What's important is what they want to do."

The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare nervously adjusted his tie: "If the Americans intervene, things will become very tricky."

The Prime Minister pondered for a moment and finally made a decision: "Let's hear what the Americans have to say first. Please let the Ambassador in."

A few minutes later, United States Ambassador John Wilson walked into the meeting room with two attendants. He had an arrogant expression, his head held high as he surveyed the room, his gaze finally resting on the Prime Minister: "Prime Minister, our government is very concerned about this individual named Allen."

The Prime Minister gestured for him to continue.

"According to our intelligence," Wilson took a document from his attendant, "this person is very likely an experimental subject from one of our secret projects, who accidentally escaped during transport."

The meeting room erupted in an uproar. Washuu Tsuneyoshi suddenly stood up: "That's impossible! His abilities far exceed current technological levels!"

Wilson displayed a standard diplomatic smile: "Chairman Washuu, you may not be aware of our latest advancements in the field of bio-enhancement."

The Minister of Defense looked suspiciously at the document: "Mr. Ambassador, are you saying this monster was created by you?"

"To be precise, an out-of-control experimental subject," Wilson corrected, "Our government has already dispatched a professional recovery team, expected to arrive in Tokyo within 48 hours."

The Prime Minister exchanged glances with the other ministers: "Mr. Ambassador, this incident occurred on Japanese territory and should rightfully be handled by us."

Wilson's smile remained unchanged: "Of course, we respect Japan's sovereignty, but given the danger of this experimental subject, our government is willing to provide technical support."

Washuu Tsuneyoshi sneered: "Technical support? Are you trying to include the CCG within the scope of your technical support?"

The atmosphere in the meeting room instantly became tense due to Washuu Tsuneyoshi's remark. The smile on Wilson's face finally disappeared: "Chairman Washuu, please watch your words. Our government is merely fulfilling its international obligations."

The Prime Minister raised his hand, signaling both sides to calm down: "Mr. Ambassador, we need time to consider."

"Of course," Wilson stood up, "But please remember, the genetic technology carried by this experimental subject is the property of the United States, and any unauthorized contact will be considered an act of theft."

After the Americans left, the Minister of Defense slammed his fist on the table: "Damn Americans! International bandits! They clearly want to steal that monster for research!"

The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare said worriedly: "If what they say is true…"

"Impossible," Washuu Tsuneyoshi said unequivocally, "The abilities Allen displayed could never be created in a laboratory."

The Prime Minister pondered for a long time and finally made a decision: "Immediately convene a National Security Council meeting, and at the same time, order the Self-Defense Forces to enter Level One alert status. Whatever the Americans want to do, we must be prepared."

Meanwhile, in a high-rise apartment in the 20th Ward.

Allen stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, toying with a CCG badge in his hand. His Psychokinesis perception network had already covered all of Tokyo, and the conversation between the United States Ambassador and the Japanese officials reached his ears, word for word.

"I am an out-of-control individual from the United States?" He murmured to himself, "Interesting."

The Japanese government, the CCG, United States agents—it was getting more and more interesting.

The doorbell suddenly rang. Allen didn't turn around, but merely raised his hand slightly, and the door lock automatically opened.

"Please come in, Mr. Ambassador, I have also been waiting for you for a long time."

John Wilson walked into the apartment alone, his two agents blocked outside by an invisible force. The Ambassador looked around. The apartment was simply decorated yet exuded luxury everywhere. It seemed the target was someone who enjoyed the finer things in life. If he liked money, then everything would be easy.

"Mr. Lin," Wilson maintained his outward composure, "I represent the United States government to negotiate with you."

Allen chuckled softly: "Negotiate? I thought you were here to recover an experimental subject."

Wilson's smile stiffened for a moment: "You misunderstand. Our government appreciates your special talents and hopes to establish a cooperative relationship."

"You've come to cooperate too?" Allen chuckled, "What are your terms?"

"Any terms," Wilson took a blank check from his inner pocket, "You can fill in any amount. Mansions, private jets, beautiful women, a lifelong stipend—as long as you are willing to serve our country, whatever the Japanese government offers, we in the United States are willing to double it!"

Allen suddenly burst into laughter: "How generous!" His laughter abruptly stopped, "Unfortunately, I'm not interested in money."

It seemed the negotiation had failed. Would he die here? Beads of sweat appeared on Wilson's forehead: "Then what do you want?"

"War," Allen's voice was very soft, yet it made Wilson feel as if he had fallen into an ice cellar, "A war that will make the whole world remember me."
