It was almost eight in the morning, and Kiara was still asleep even though all her sisters had already left bed. The previous night, Kiara had stayed up all night texting with Fionn, not knowing it would cost her.
That morning was her first day at work. Thanks to the man she now called her boyfriend, she would be late. But she didn't mind. Kiara was so madly in love with Fionn that almost nothing else mattered for as long as they were together.
Beat walked into the room, and scoffed when she saw her sister still soundly sleeping. "It's her first day of work, and she's still sleeping."
She walked to the windows and drew the curtains, which allowed light to slip in. Kiara groaned and tossed in her sleep as the light fell directly on her face.
"Kiara," Beat called out, shaking her a bit. "Kiara wake up."
Kiara snapped out of her sleep. She sat up and, while scratching her eyes, she yawned.
