Moving her mouth close to Fionn's ear, Maeve whispered something, which sent him huffing in surprise.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"What?" She smirked. "Don't tell me you didn't know?"
With a chuckle, he set her on one of the chairs and took up one himself. "Tell me more." He said hastily.
"I don't know much past what I've told you," Maeve said as she shrugged her shoulders.
Fionn listened quietly as he held his chin before a smile appeared on his lips. "Let's continue with the cleaning. We will talk about that later."
He made his seat vacant and moved to one of the corner cabinets, where he retrieved two pairs of cleaning gloves. "How could you clean without gloves?" He asked while putting on one pair.
Maeve shrugged her shoulders once again to his question as she moved to where the shuttered plate lay. Without thought, she squatted down to pick up the broken pieces.
"No, leave that, I'll do it. You may get a cut." Fionn blurted, trying to stop her, but it was rather late.
