His statement sent the whole room into shock.
"Your wife!"
"Yes, isn't that what is expected of me?" Fiona turned his focus to the woman before him. He flashed a smile at her.
The smile he flashed her helped at least to calm her nerves. Kiara smiled back. All the while, she kept her eyes fixed on Fionn and spared no other person in the room a gaze.
Fionn turned his gaze back to the people in the room. "Everyone, meet my wife." He said, stirring the room again with whispers and murmurs.
"I believe this is now all solved," Brendan said, clapping his hands with a smile painted on his face.
"Nothing is solved. If it's not Emma, then any other marriage is not recognized."
"So what do you want us to do?" Brendan asked, leaning forward, his eyes glued on the woman.
She was quiet for a moment, out of words, or rather putting together the right words to say. She leaned in, giving him the same energy.
"I'll make sure I find her. But for now, I'll acknowledge her."
