It had been wise for the brother to have a separate arrangement that Shadow didn't know about. The night before the journey, the three had met for a separate strategy. None of them trusted Shadow. So they just played along with him. But they had a backup plan.
The men dragged Ethan in with force. He was then kicked off his feet to his knees. Fionn moved to intervene. But before he could, two other men were already at his point.
They held him in position. The two twisted his arms behind his back and bound them.
"Make sure it's tight enough." The man behind the table said.
With a nod, the men then forced Fionn off the seat, making him kneel beside his brother.
The man behind the table smirked. He waved off the other men. Once the men left the room, he turned to Shadow.
"For once, I thought you'd go behind my back. I'm glad you came back." He said.
Shadow managed a smirk. "It's business. I decided to go where I was needed."
