Hearing the terrifying truth from Fangxi Zavian was left Completely stunned.
For thr first time the man who reminded clam in very situation looked utterly shaken.
Sheoke overwhelmed his expression as silence consumed him. A storm of seriousness and disbelief rose in his deep eyes.
He stayed silent for a few moments, as if trying to understand the depth of Fangxi's words.
Breaking the silence, Fangxi asked with hope in his voice:
"Zayan... will you.. help me?"
Zavian took a deep breath, moved away from the car, and stood up straight in his usual composed manner.
Sliding both hands into his pant pockets, he fixed his sharp gaze on Fangxi and asked:
"But how are you... so sure... that your Dad was... murdered? What proof do... you have?!"
Fangxi's face turned red with anger and pain. In a serious voice, he replied:
"I have a.. certain clip... and once you see it, everything will become...clear. That clip holds every truth.. that can prove my;
"Dad's death was not an..accident! If you want, I can show it.. to you."
Zavian leaned slightly forward and looked straight into Fangxi's eyes, as if testing his determination. Then, in a cold yet firm tone, he said:
"Alright... I'll help.. you. Tonight, we'll watch that clip.. and find out who the person was that.. killed your Dad!"
The moment Zavian agreed, the heavy burden on Fangxi's heart felt lighter.
A faint relieved smile appeared on his face as he said gratefully:
"Okay... and thank you for.. standing by my side!"
A mysterious smile appeared on Zavian's lips as well. But their dark conversation suddenly came to a stop when a soft and innocent voice echoed from behind:
"What are you two...whispering about? And why are you... smiling so much?!"
Both of them quickly turned around. Standing there was Sheyaan, a white purse hanging around her neck as she stared at them suspiciously.
In front of her innocent eyes, both of them instantly hid all their talks about murder and revenge.
Sheyaan stared at both of them suspiciously, as if she was trying to read their minds.
Walking closer, she placed her hands on her waist and asked in a doubtful tone:
"Now tell me... why did you both...suddenly go silent? What are you two secretly... cooking up?!"
Her suspicious eyes stayed fixed on them. Zavian stood there with his usual expressionless face,
but Fangxi became slightly nervous. Quickly thinking of an excuse, he made up a lie:
"Uh... we were just discussing..some important office... matters!"
Sheyaan narrowed her eyes slightly and looked at both of them carefully before asking:
"Oh really? Then what was so funny about it..that you both were laughing.. like that? Since when did office talks become this.. entertaining?!"
Hearing her second question, Fangxi almost ran out of words. Forcing an awkward laugh onto his face, he stuttered:
"Wel...Well... Sheyaan, actually, Zayan told me a really...funny joke! That's why we were laughing... nothing.. else!"
The moment she heard this, Sheyaan was completely shocked. Raising her eyebrows in disbelief, she clasped both hands behind her back and looked at Zavian.
For her, it was impossible to believe that "The Cold Zavian" could actually tell a joke.
With a mischievous smile, curved Sheyaan's lips as she looked at Zavian with playful eyes in a teasing tone she said.
"Oh... so Mr. Zayan knows how to... joke too?! Interesting! Then let me hear...that joke as well... so I can laugh a.. little too!"
Instead of replying, Zavian threw a deep and cold glance at Fangxi.
Standing behind Sheyaan, Fangxi felt completely trapped. Making a helpless face, he quietly whispered:
"Sorry, buddy...!"
Zavian shifted his gaze back to Sheyaan, who was still waiting excitedly to hear his so-called joke. In his usual cold and indifferent tone, he said:
"You talk too much...! Just get in the car... quietly, or forget about..shopping!"
After saying that, Zavian quickly walked ahead and took the driver's seat.
Seeing his reaction, Sheyaan was left stunned. She opened her mouth in surprise, but before she could say anything,
Fangxi hurriedly sat in the seat beside Zavian so she wouldn't ask more questions.
Watching their strange behavior, Sheyaan muttered to herself thoughtfully:
"Something is...definitely suspicious...! These two are hiding something...from me. I'll have to... find out!"
Saying that, Sheyaan also got into the back seat. Without wasting another second, Zavian started the engine, and the car quickly drove away.
Meanwhile, in the Mansion.
Inside the house, Lucy was going crazy with anger in her room. Her face was filled with hatred.
Standing beside her, Chan was trying to calm her down. In a soft and careful tone, he said:
"Lucy... calm yourself down! Your anger will ruin...everything..."
The heat of anger could clearly be felt inside Lucy's room. Trying to calm her down, Chan spoke softly in a gentle tone:
"Lucy... don't worry. One day, Sheyaan will leave..this house as if she was never here... in the first place! Not even a trace...of her will..remain."
Hearing this, Lucy, who was sitting on the bed, burst out in anger. Clenching her fists tightly, she shouted:
"When will she... leave?! And how?! I want her gone... right now!"
Lucy's furious voice was still echoing through the room when Manglong, who was sitting on a nearby chair,
took the last drag of his cigarette and cruelly crushed it into the ashtray before saying coldly:
"That girl won't... leave this house.. so easily... and the truth is, I don't want her.. to leave yet."
Hearing Manglong's strange and shocking words, both Lucy and Chan widened their eyes in surprise.
They immediately turned toward him. Manglong was still staring deeply at the fading smoke with mysterious eyes.
Neither of them could understand why Manglong, who hated Sheyaan himself, wanted her to stay.
Inside that mansion room, a new and terrifying plan was beginning to take shape.
Lucy looked at him with eyes filled with both shoke and anger unable to hold herself back she asked.
"Uncle! What are you talking about? Why shouldn't that girl leave this house?!"
Supporting his father's words, Chan also said, "Yeah Dad! What exactly are you trying to say?"
Seeing their confusion, a dark and sinister smile slowly appeared on Manglong's lips. In a cold tone, he replied:
"Why are both of you... so shocked? That girl has taken everything... away from Lucy... so she should pay the price for.. it, shouldn't she?"
Lucy immediately understood the hatred and hidden plan behind Manglong's words. Taking a deep breath, she spoke a little more calmly,
"You're right, Uncle... she can't leave... that easily!"
But Chan was still not satisfied. Worried, he asked,
"But how are we going...to do that? That man, Zavian, stays around her like a...shadow twenty-four hours... a day!"
Leaning back in his chair, Manglong slowly said,
"Lucy... why don't you try becoming a..little friendly with that man? It could make our work... much easier."
Hearing this, Lucy fell into thought. With a mysterious smile, she replied,
"Alright, I'll.. try! But I've tried talking to.. him before... dealing with him isn't that easy. He looks extremely smart..and dangerous."
Lucy's words suddenly reminded Chan of the day when Zavian had made him stare death right in the face.
A wave of fear crossed his expression. Seeing Chan lost in silence, Manglong sharply asked:
"Chan! What are you... thinking about?!"
Manglong's sharp voice brought Chan back to his senses. Feeling slightly nervous while remembering his old fear, Chan replied:
"Dad... talking to him (Zavian) isn't just...difficult, it's impossible! He's not a human, he's like a... stone."
Lucy and Chan's words filled the atmosphere with a strange seriousness.
In his heavy and commanding voice, Manglong declared his decision:
"If that's the case... then stay careful around.. him. But Lucy, no matter what.. happens, you must get closer to...him! Only then can our next.. step succeed."
Narrowing his eyes, Manglong added,
"The farther Sheyaan stays... from that human the.. better it will be for us. We have to break the...wall between them."
A poisonous smile appeared on Lucy's face. In a voice filled with hatred, she made her final decision:
"I'll do...everything I can, Uncle... and I'll completely..destroy Sheyaan!"
Inside that dark mansion room, a vow had been made to ruin an innocent girl,
while outside, an unaware Sheyaan had already left to enjoy her shopping trip.
Lucy's eyes were filled with madness as she clenched her fists and swore:
"If I don't... destroy Sheyaan... then my name isn't..Lucy!"
Hearing her hateful words, a hidden and mysterious smile appeared on Chan and Manglong's lips.
They were pleased by Lucy's determination. Understanding the seriousness of the moment, Chan said:
"Then it's settled... let's begin the.. plan!"
But Manglong raised his hand and stopped him. Leaning back in his chair, he spoke in a cold and emotionless tone:
"Not today... today, let them all enjoy themselves..and be happy for a while... Remember... the destruction that comes after... peace is the most enjoyable.. kind."
Manglong's deep and terrifying words painted a new image of destruction inside Lucy and Chan's minds.
Both of them exchanged dangerous smirks. Stepping forward, Chan joined hands and excitedly said:
"Then why don't we... carry out the plan after..tomorrow?!"
Lucy immediately agreed, "Exactly!"
Inside that dark mansion room, the three evil minds were celebrating together,
while on the other side, innocent Sheyaan, Fangxi, and Zavian were happily lost in their own world.
None of the three realized that behind their fleeting moments of happiness, a massive trial was silently waiting for them.
Completely unaware they failed to sense the danger that was steadily approaching.
