Chapter 45 - Chapter 45: The Medicine Cauldron of Bei Village

(Note: There was many name and character translations in previous chapter I tried my best to fix these problems, if you think there is still any mistake in this chapter or incoming chapter please let me know it will be very useful to me)

Ruofeng wore a faint smile, a trace of joy rising in his heart.

Trash from the Perfect World—and even more so, trash from Bei Village. Although Bei Village was nothing more than a group of early-stage minor characters, to Ruofeng, this harvest was enormous.

He carefully searched through everything and muttered, "There's no ancient prescription here. It seems impossible to obtain the medicinal bath formula from the Perfect World. Even if I did get it, I wouldn't be able to gather the ingredients in the Naruto world. Not to mention… whether my body could even withstand it."

As he spoke to himself, Ruofeng knew very well that even if a fully prepared medicinal bath were placed before him, he wouldn't dare step inside. Just thinking about Shi Hao from the original story—who possessed an extremely powerful physique—still ended up dizzy and suffering severe reactions after soaking in it.

However, Ruofeng also understood that although this medicine cauldron from Bei Village contained no formulas, the medicinal properties infused within it were more than enough for his use.

In the Perfect World, medicine cauldrons were used year-round to boil herbs, refine medicines, and concoct pills. Over time, traces of medicinal essence would seep into the cauldron itself, imbuing it with residual medicinal power.

Even though this cauldron from Bei Village had likely not been used for very long, the medicinal energy it carried was still sufficient to strengthen Ruofeng's physique. If he boiled hot spring water inside it, the water would absorb those medicinal properties, potentially surpassing any medicinal bath used by the clans of the Naruto world. If he added Naruto-world medicinal formulas on top of that, the effect would be even greater.

In other words, by obtaining this so-called "trash," Ruofeng had secured a priceless treasure. From now on, he would no longer need to worry about how to strengthen his body.

Aside from the cauldron, there was also the corpse of a tiger.

Its entire body was fiery red, radiating fierce vitality. From the records etched onto a piece of beast hide, Ruofeng learned that this was a Fire Tiger captured by the last remaining villager of Bei Village, originally meant for consumption. Unfortunately, when the man discovered that Shi Hao had returned, he fled in panic, abandoning both the village and the tiger—leaving this unexpected gain for Ruofeng.

In the Perfect World, the Fire Tiger was nothing more than an ordinary beast. It had no true blood flowing through its veins, let alone the terrifying power of ferocious beasts.

Ruofeng stared at the tiger's body and murmured, "Even though it's only an ordinary beast, since it comes from the Perfect World, its flesh should be at least comparable to magical beast meat… perhaps even better."

After a moment, he exhaled slowly and turned his gaze back to the massive cauldron.

"It's far too heavy. I'll have to leave it at Beast King Mountain. Keeping it at home would be too unsafe."

He originally planned to take out a large sealing scroll and store the cauldron inside. However, sealing required placing the item directly onto the scroll—and no matter how hard he tried, Ruofeng simply couldn't lift it.

Even after using all his strength, the cauldron didn't budge in the slightest.

This made him think of Shi Hao from the Perfect World, who could casually toss around such cauldrons when he was only a few years old. The difference in physique was truly overwhelming.

Shaking his head helplessly, Ruofeng turned and vanished from the junk station.

The bedroom was silent as Ruofeng reappeared, his body drenched in sweat and smeared with mud.

Most of the trash he had dealt with this time consisted of soil, after all.

Without bothering to clean himself, he bit his finger, formed hand seals, and said, "Reverse Summoning Technique!"

Bang—!

With a burst of white smoke, Ruofeng disappeared once more.

When the smoke cleared, he had already arrived at Beast King Mountain.

No sooner had he appeared than a Ghost-Faced Mastiff King came charging toward him from the distance.

"Woof—! Master, you're back!"

Its voice sounded childish. After all, it had only gained intelligence a few days ago. Although it could speak, it still sounded very much like a child.

Ruofeng leapt forward, patting the beast's fur with a smile. "Let's go to the dumping ground. We're throwing out trash again."

At those words, the Ghost-Faced Mastiff King became visibly excited and sprinted off.

The last time trash had been dumped, the entire canine tribe had evolved, breaking through their seals, and even Beast King Mountain itself had grown stronger. Naturally, it was eager to see what would happen this time.

In the blink of an eye, Ruofeng arrived at the same location as before.

Soon, several large dogs—sled dogs, huskies, bully breeds, and others—gathered around.

The clever sled dog looked at Ruofeng and asked expectantly, "Master… will this trash have the same effect as last time?"

Ruofeng shook his head. "Last time was an accident. This time, there won't be anything like that."

What a joke. If another strange virus appeared, would he still dare to mess around? Just a single RR virus would already be troublesome enough. Viruses were simply too dangerous—especially those from certain worlds.

Take, for example, the T-virus from the Resident Evil world, the infection virus from I Am Legend, or the zombie virus from countless undead worlds. If any of those appeared in the junk station, it would be catastrophic. A single leak could threaten the entire world.

That said, the monster evolution in Swallowed Star had been driven first by the RR virus and later by nuclear radiation. If trash from a technological world someday produced nuclear radiation, perhaps the canine tribe could evolve again. But what about him? Nuclear radiation was invisible and untouchable—far too dangerous.

Setting those thoughts aside, Ruofeng focused on the barren land before him.

Previously, this entire area had been wasteland. Only the spot where trash had been dumped last time had turned into lush grassland. The rest remained desolate.

With a thought, Ruofeng connected to his junk station.

A distorted vortex appeared in the sky above the wasteland, and massive amounts of soil began to pour out.

The soil fell steadily, spreading across the land.

The moment it appeared, the sled dog's eyes widened in shock. "Master… this soil contains incredibly powerful energy. It feels like natural chakra!"

Ruofeng blinked. "Natural chakra?"

The sled dog nodded. "I've been cultivating the canine clan's Sage Technique these past few days, trying to fill my body with natural chakra. Because of that, I'm very sensitive to natural energy. The moment this soil appeared, I sensed a dense concentration of it. Although the amount isn't large, the quality seems far superior to ordinary natural chakra!"

Hearing this, Ruofeng immediately understood.

The Perfect World was an unimaginably powerful realm, overflowing with terrifying spiritual energy. Naturally, that energy permeated the land, nurturing countless heavenly treasures. It made perfect sense that even its soil would contain such extraordinary power.
