"Well, we are not the ones going after him," I muttered. I tried to convince myself that we could just walk away from this and pretend it never happened.
"Princess will find him and try to kill him. Don't you get it?" Malo said. He was pacing now, his boots scuffing against the polished wood of the court.
"Princess and her friends said they will have a chitchat with him later on," I reminded him. I wanted to believe that was all it would be. Just a talk.
"Faye, that chitchat is going to turn into a bloodbath. She will expel him and want to kill him for real. Peamah doesn't want to be disturbed because he said he wants to concentrate on his basketball. If he gets expelled, no basketball, no championship. He will pin his entire downfall on us and rage," Malo said.
