Princess, still holding her girlfriend's hand, dragged her out of the party hall.
Princess took Faye to a room in the hotel. The room was a deluxe suite. The door closed with a quiet click, shutting out the loud noise of the party as Princess let out a long, heavy wave of air, her shoulders finally dropping from their tight stance.
"Nice room. Is this yours?" Faye said, admiring it. It was different from the one they had spent time in last time.
She sat down on the chair beside the bed, grabbed a green grape, and tossed it into her mouth. Her teeth bit down into the sweet fruit with a soft pop, her lungs pulling in a simple, easy breath as she leaned back against the cushion.
"Okay, babe. I'm all ears," Faye said. She crossed her legs, her pulse beating steady and unbothered while her eyes locked onto her girlfriend's tense posture.
Princess just stood in front of her girlfriend, staring at her with judging eyes.
