Inside Princess's car, Princess held the steering wheel, Faye sat in the front passenger seat, and for some unknown reason, Kiara was sprawled across the backseat.
The rest of the crew followed close behind in the van.
Faye sat with the picture album Jessie had handed her resting on her dear lap. She kept staring down at the cover, her thumb tracing the hard border as she wondered what kind of ghosts she was about to see once she opened it.
"Are you not going to open it, babe?" Princess asked, keeping her tone smooth. Her eyes had been darting over to the passenger side every few seconds, watching Faye's restless fingers tap against the cardboard.
"I don't know how I'm going to react to seeing pictures of myself that I can't even remember taking," Faye said, her voice dropping.
