Jingle... Jingle... Jingle...
The sound echoed sharply through the whole mountain. Everyone's faces were frozen. They dared not to move. But the silence which scared even the emperor was broken by someone.
that someone was none other than Crown Prince Isaiah.
The Red Moon who had intruded with his shining bells had already started dancing. His face was provocative but his movements and steps were even more so.
But even the legendary dancer who was performing like he doesn't care a little about anyone there was seemed slightly surprised by the movements of Crown Prince Isaiah. But he only gave a soft smile as he continued his captivating dance.
Crown Prince Isaiah who had now joined Red Moon in the dance, seemed surprisingly matched with Red Moon. It almost seemed like he knew what the mysterious humming tone is going to play and what will be the Red Moon's next steps, But it was an... Almost.
crash...
Everyone looked pale as they stared at the figure which was piercing through the air and finally, it slammed at the mountainside with a loud noise. The elderly had already begun praying and clutching their chest as the dirt filled the air around the figure which made it impossible to see the silhouette.
The humming sound that accompanied the Red Moon started being more intense. The speed of the Red Moon's steps multiplied and once again the everyone's eyes naturally drifted towards the Red Moon.
But people's eyes darted back and forth as they noticed something...
Crown Prince Isaiah who had been dancing along with the Red Moon was nowhere to be found. They looked back at the crashed figure and to no surprise it was indeed Crown Prince Isaiah.
Crown Prince Isaiah was considered one of the strongest people in the empire and for him to fly across the sky and then crash into the side of the mountain was something that one had never anticipated.
Thus, it was already clear that the person who sent the Crown Prince flying was none other then The Red Moon.
Emperor Gabriel who only sat at his seat and gave the same reaction as the other people suddenly got up and ran recklessly towards the crown prince.
The crown prince by now had already spat out a mouth-full of blood. Guards who had thought of doing something dared not to move.
Emperor Gabriel's face which was already pale grew even more pale as he saw his son standing up
and slowly walking towards The Red Moon.
"No!" He said. His tone was audible yet fearful and weak.
"You...You can't go there again!" he said again while running again to stop the crown prince.
Crown Prince's lips curved into a small smile as his messy hair covered most of his face.
"Father... This... Maybe my last chance..."
Emperor Gabriel's face flooded with terror. Maybe... I am too late he thought to himself as he stepped aside.
Isaiah with his injured body slowly but steadily started moving again towards the Red Moon.
The Red Moon also seemed to notice as he slowly also started to move towards Isaiah. Crown Prince gave a weak smile.
Yank
The crown prince's hand was already at The Red Moon's throat. Red Moon went blank before he tried to break free.
The crowd went silent. Their faces going wide with shock.
Crown Prince Isaiah moved as he slowly reached the ear of Red Moon. His lips moved and he said something that made the Red Moon laugh.
"You are a funny guy." said Red Moon as he grabbed the same had that yanked his neck.
Swift
The Red Moon and The Crown Prince disappeared ...
*Crown Prince Isaiah's POV*
It was a house...
A house enough for only both of us...
The sweet moon had already taken me out of that boring place...
"Don't go out." ordered my sweet moon as he closed the door to outside. I looked around only to find endless books and just one bed... Well I am not complaining....
"How do you even live here?" I asked as I picked up one of the books from the shelf. My sweet moon just smiled and started walking towards slightly dim-lighted area.
My sweet moon returned with a wooden box in his hand. "Don't move." he said while dragging me towards the bed with one hand and forcing me to sit.
Slowly he took out some ointment and bandages as he pointed at my clothes which were covered with blood. I slowly removed them as I said "Pardon."
Something flickered in his eyes and he paused for a moment before he started applying the ointment.
His soft rosy scent filled the air as he sat closely to me.
It was amusing seeing the dancer who dominated the dance floor earlier now calm and letting his guard down.
I leaned near his ear as I said
"Don't you want it?"
