Chapter 56 - [VOL 2] CHAPTER 3 : PAGE 5

The balcony remained a frozen landscape of disbelief. The Lords and Dukes were

paralyzed, their eyes darting between the steaming, clear ocean and the small,

silver-haired boy who was currently picking a piece of celestial lint off his sleeve. The

transition from the towering, 7-foot Monster back to the lazy child was so abrupt it left

the High Priest's mind spinning in circles."What... what was that?" the High Priest stammered, his fingers twitching toward the

empty space where the giant had stood. "That... that person... that archer...".

Jee-shahn let out a long, weary yawn, his azure eyes hooded and bored. "That was

me. The normal me," he stated, gesturing vaguely to his small frame. "And this is me

on vacation. It's a very simple concept, Priest. One is for ending worlds, and the other

is for napping. Both are currently very hungry".

The High Priest's eyes remained locked in shock, his brain failing to process the

casual admission, much like the other nobles in the room. Jasmine, equally confused

and overwhelmed, finally snapped. She lunged forward, grabbing Jee-shahn by the

collar and shaking him with frantic, panicking energy.

"When you do something insane like that, tell me in advance! You gave me a heart

attack!" she shrieked. She shook him so violently and fast that Jee-shahn's head

began to loll back and forth like a ragdoll's; he tried to tell her to stop, but the words

were physically rattled out of him before they could leave his throat.

The Lords watched this bizarre "husband and wife" moment in a daze, unable to

reconcile the world-ending archer with the boy currently being scrambled by a

panicked princess. Just as the High Priest moved to intervene and stop his

daughter's trembling hands, the room doors burst open.

Jasmine's three sisters—Mina, Liana, and Yuna —swept into the room like a localized

hurricane. Before anyone could blink, they snatched the dazed Jee-shahn right out of

Jasmine's grip and vanished back through the doors.

The room fell into a stunned silence. Jasmine remained in her "shaking" posture, her

hands grasping thin air, still trapped in her panic. Jee-shahn, meanwhile, had

completely fainted from the sheer G-force of Jasmine's rattling. It took several long

seconds before Jasmine's brain rebooted; her eyes widened as she realized her

husband had been abducted.

"Hey! Give him back!" she screamed, finally breaking her trance and sprinting out of

the room to reclaim her fainted Monster from her sisters.
