Uchiha Obito's eyes blazed with determination. "Yuzuru-aniki, you don't know—ever since Kakashi started at the academy, everyone's been ignoring me."
"I want you to teach me something really powerful so I can beat Kakashi in front of everyone!"
The moment Obito finished speaking, Hatake Kakashi's voice came from behind him. "Obito, you're so underhanded."
"Yuzuru-senpai, please teach me some ninjutsu as well."

Hatake Kakashi paused, realizing Obito actually had a point.
After a moment's thought, Kakashi suddenly pulled a book from inside his jacket. "Yuzuru-aniki, this is Jiraiya's latest release. I'm giving it to you."
Uchiha Yuzuru's expression changed. He glanced back toward the courtyard where Uzumaki Kushina and Uchiha Mikoto were, then quickly pocketed the book. "Kakashi, don't give me stuff like this in the future. I read the Classics!"
Seeing Uchiha Yuzuru's righteous expression, Hatake Kakashi scratched his head. "But Yuzuru-senpai, you were the one who gave me a copy in the first place..."
"I only give them away. I don't read them."
Uchiha Yuzuru cut Kakashi off, then headed toward the training ground outside.
"I happen to have time today. I'll teach you both a finishing move."
"Yes!"
Uchiha Obito jumped in excitement. Kakashi, too, couldn't hide his thrill as he hurried after them.
Watching the two of them, Uchiha Yuzuru felt a tinge of melancholy.
Under his influence, the entire shinobi world had completely diverged from the original storyline.

As he spoke, Uchiha Yuzuru pressed the Rasengan against a wooden post in the training ground.
In the next instant, wood chips flew, and a spiral mark appeared on the post.
"What the... That's supposed to be A-rank...?"
Uchiha Obito muttered in disappointment.

A thick wooden post—large enough to take three people linking arms to encircle—was pierced straight through by Chidori.
The sight left Uchiha Obito trembling with excitement. "Too awesome, aniki! This is the A-rank jutsu I want!"
"Yuzuru-aniki, I want to learn Chidori!"
Compared to the earlier Rasengan, Chidori not only had greater destructive power but also came with its own sound effects. The way it looked was just too cool!

Hearing Uchiha Yuzuru's explanation, both Obito and Kakashi nodded earnestly.

At that, both Uchiha Obito and Hatake Kakashi immediately sat down obediently on the ground.
