"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!" The plaza in front of Enies Lobby instantly descended into chaos. Shouts, alarms, cries for help, and orders for reinforcements overlapped in a cacophony. Within moments, a dense black mass of guards had gathered at the main gate, surrounding Rocketman in layer upon layer.
"You guys stay back for now!" Pauly stared at the sea of enemies ahead, cold sweat beading on his forehead as he forced himself to remain calm. "Leave these small fries to us! You need to conserve your strength for the real threats coming later!"
At that moment, with a resounding bang, the closed car door was kicked open. Sol staggered out, taking a deep breath of solid ground air. Some color finally returned to his face: "Finally… finally standing on firm land again…"
"Hey! What are you doing?! Get back inside!" Pauly shouted in alarm, but could only watch helplessly as the rest of the Straw Hats followed Sol off the train.
"The invaders are the Straw Hat Pirates! Quickly report to Captain T Bone for backup!" one guard screamed desperately toward the rear.
"Too noisy!" Sol frowned. A terrifying aura suddenly erupted from within him! Invisible Conqueror's Haki swept across the entire plaza like a tsunami—
In a single instant, the agents and Marines who had been standing ready dropped like harvested wheat, eyes rolling back, foaming at the mouth, instantly unconscious.
"What… what terrifying presence…" Pauly stared dumbfounded at the scene before him, finally realizing that this guy who had been seasick and weak the entire trip was actually the most terrifying member of the group.
"Feels so much better after letting it out!" Sol stretched his arms, shouting energetically, "I'm alive again! Banzai!"
"Conqueror's Haki really is convenient—saves a lot of hassle," Sanji remarked, lighting a cigarette as he stepped forward.
At that moment, Luffy started looking around: "Chopper, Usopp—where'd they go? They were just here."
Chopper also glanced around: "Yeah, weren't they right here a second ago?"
Nami helplessly pointed at a masked, cloaked figure standing right beside them, clearly reluctant to admit she knew him.
"Usopp has merged with me into one!" The masked, cloaked Usopp stood with hands on hips, announcing in exaggerated tone: "Now I am Sniper King, hailing from Sniper Island!"
"That's the legendary transformation, right?!" Luffy's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Like heroes going 'shoom' and transforming!"
"Fusion! So cool! I wanna fuse too!" Chopper bounced over eagerly, eyes full of anticipation.
Zoro stood off to the side with arms crossed, looking at the three idiots like they were hopeless cases.
"Alright—time to start wrecking everything!" Sol charged forward like an arrow loosed from a bow. The others followed closely behind. When they reached the second massive gate, two towering figures blocked their path—two giant warriors holding enormous weapons!
"Why are there giants here?!" Usopp exclaimed in shock. The sight instantly reminded him of Dorry and Brogy, the masters he had trained with in Little Garden.
"Who cares if they're giants or fish-men! We can't stop here! Vivi-chan and Nami-chan are waiting for me—your prince is coming to save you right now!" Sanji's blood surged with passion. In a flash he overtook Sol, stepping on Moon Step to leap into the air straight toward the giants!
"What's that thing flying over…" Oimo and Kashi squinted sleepily at the sky—it was three or four in the morning; they had just been hastily woken up to guard the gate. "Cheek Meat SHOOT!"
Sanji flashed like lightning to Kashi's face and delivered a precise, powerful kick straight to his cheek! Caught completely off guard, Kashi let out a muffled groan and crashed heavily to the ground.
Oimo finally reacted. Seeing his partner go down, he roared and swung his massive axe toward Sanji! But in the next instant, his eyes rolled back and his enormous body toppled forward—
"Three Sword Style – Demon Slash!"
The sound of Zoro sheathing his swords finally reached them.
"Tch, meddling moss-head," Sanji grumbled, turning his head with displeasure.
Pauly watched the two powerful giants get taken down so effortlessly and turned to Zanbay in stunned disbelief: "They're this strong… Then what the hell are we even here for? Just to be dead weight?"
"Uh…" Zanbay was momentarily speechless, scratching his head awkwardly.
At that moment, Kashi—who had been kicked down by Sanji—struggled back to his feet: "Impossible… letting you break through so easily… Dorry and Brogy leaders… are still waiting for us to save them!"
Usopp's sharp ears caught the key information. He rushed forward excitedly: "You know Dorry and Brogy too?!"
Kashi froze for a second, then answered honestly: "What? Have you seen our leaders somewhere? Weren't they imprisoned by the World Government long ago? The government promised that as long as Oimo and I worked for them for one hundred years, they would release our leaders. We've been guarding the gates of Enies Lobby for fifty years now—everything's been peaceful… How can we fail at the last moment!"
"Huh? But we just saw them in Little Garden not long ago!" Usopp hurriedly explained. "They've been dueling on the island for nearly a century! How could the government have imprisoned them?" As he spoke, even Usopp himself froze—could the two masters have been captured recently?
