"Define fun," Cheon muttered.
I took their hands and led them into the building. The security guard nodded as we passed, his eyes lingering a moment too long on our joined hands. The elevator ride was silent except for the soft ping of passing floors.
When the doors opened directly into my apartment, Cheon gasped slightly.
"I forgot how big this place is," she said.
"Right… how was last night?" Mera asked.
"Mera," I warned.
"What? I'm just making conversation." She dropped her bag on the couch and stretched her arms above her head. "So, what's the plan? Dinner first? Or should we skip straight to dessert?"
Cheon looked like she might spontaneously combust. "Could we perhaps discuss ground rules before...before..."
"Before we all get naked and sweaty together?" Mera supplied helpfully.
"Yes. That."
