Chapter 247 - Chapter 247: Welcome to the Adult World

From her flawless forehead, to the tip of her elegant nose, to her trembling, petal-like lips.

Their kiss was an adagio—slow and deeply affectionate.

There were no violent clashes, only a tender, intimate lingering of lips.

He tasted the sweetness between her lips; she felt the searing heat in his breath.

At this moment, their souls began a dialogue through the most direct method possible.

Gradually, the tempo began to quicken.

He followed the graceful line of her neck downward, leaving his own marks upon her delicate collarbones.

His hands also began to wander over this perfect instrument, from her flat stomach to her firm thighs. Every caress was like striking the perfect chord, drawing out irrepressible shudders from her.

Robin was no longer passively enduring.

Her long, slender legs wrapped around his waist like vines, and her arms tightly encircled his neck, responding to him with an equally passionate rhythm.

Her fingertips traced across his back, dragging a series of tiny electric currents in their wake.

This was a crescendo—the surging lightning and thunder in the clouds just before a storm.

When Aiden felt she was ready, he paused.

He stared into her eyes in the darkness. Those lake-green eyes were rippling with water now, filled with unreserved trust.

"Robin..." He called her name with a breathy whisper, as if seeking final permission.

"Mhm..." She answered with a barely audible hum.

And so, the main melody began to play with a slow, resolute posture.

Only when he felt her tense body gradually relax did he begin the true performance.

It was a magnificent concerto.

He transformed into the wildest drummer, guiding the progression of the entire concert with his strong, powerful rhythm.

Every fall of the conductor's baton was like a heavy strike on a timpani, letting out dull, earth-shaking echoes.

And she was the violin resonating in harmony with it.

Her body rose, fell, and swayed with his tempo, like a petrel dancing amidst a tempest.

The moonlight was their only spotlight.

Their sweat glistened, acting as the physical manifestation of their musical notes.

Her sweet, melodic cries were like the most moving cadenza.

In this ultimate union, fine, glimmering stardust spilled out from her body, drifting through the entire room.

The walls, the ceiling, the bed... they all vanished.

It was as if they were situated in the middle of a vast sea of stars.

Stars circled and spun around them, singing ancient, holy ballads.

Every clash between them brought forth a burst of stellar brilliance.

Every deeper plunge made the song of the entire star sea soar even higher.

They were no longer two independent individuals.

Their souls, their flesh, their magic—at this moment, they achieved true "Harmony."

He didn't know how long had passed, but finally, the impassioned melody reached its concluding moment.

The conductor's baton fell for the final time, and the entire symphony orchestra played its most glorious finale.

All the notes, all the melodies, converged into a torrent in this instant, rushing toward the core of the movement.

Like a bowstring drawn to its absolute limit, the violin let out the most magnificent trill under the wash of that melody, surpassing the limits of hearing.

All the stars paled in comparison to this final note, then detonated into billions of motes of light dust, dyeing the entire void of the universe a pure white.

The finale.

Everything returned to silence.

The starlight slowly dissipated, and the room returned to its dimness once more.

Only the heavy, satisfied panting of the two intertwined in the air.

Aiden lay beside her, feeling her heart pounding against his chest, wrapped in the warm, lingering afterglow of their beautiful catastrophe.

He lowered his head and pressed a kiss full of tender affection and cherishment onto her lips.

"Our graduation ceremony... is over," he said softly.

Robin slowly opened her eyes. Those eyes, soaked with tears and sweat, were astonishingly bright in the darkness.

She reached out and gently stroked his cheek, a weary yet blissful smile curling the corners of her mouth.

"Welcome... to the adult world."

The morning sun, like carefully filtered golden syrup, spilled gently across the floor and the long dining table through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows of the Palais Mermonia dining room.

The air was filled with the scent of bread personally baked by Tifa, carrying the aroma of wheat and butter, along with the rich, fragrant scent of freshly brewed black tea.

It was a perfect morning, one worthy of being written into a poem.

However, the atmosphere at today's dining table felt somewhat out of place amidst this tranquil morning light.

"Huh? Why hasn't Robin come down yet today?"

Hyacine asked, her words muffled as her pink twin-tails swayed and she chewed on a small piece of toast smothered in jam.

She looked around. Furina was elegantly stirring the milk in her cup with a small spoon, Tifa was handing out fried eggs to everyone, Jeanne was quietly waiting to eat, Cassandra and Daphne were discussing something in low voices, and Goddess Astrea was watching Cecil and the others with a gentle smile. Everything was exactly the same as usual—except for the silver-purple figure who was always the first to smile and bid everyone good morning, who had yet to appear.

Hyacine's purely innocent question shattered the morning peace like a boulder dropped into a calm lake.

"Cough, cough!"

Tifa, who was walking over with a plate, stumbled, nearly sending the sunny-side-up eggs flying off the dish.

Her beautiful eyes blinked rapidly, and an uncontrollable, suspicious blush flew up her cheeks.

Sitting at the table, Jeanne stiffened at the words.

A rare trace of panic flashed through those blue eyes that were always full of holiness and resolve. She immediately lowered her head, looking as if she wanted to bury herself in the bowl of oatmeal in front of her.

The reactions of these two normally composed girls were identical.

Tifa and Jeanne's gazes collided extremely briefly in the air, then quickly bounced away like startled rabbits. The unspoken understanding and shyness almost overflowed from their eyes.

"Oh, Robin is—"

Aiden, sitting at the head of the table, tried his hardest to blend into the background like a piece of furniture, but was forced to bite the bullet and speak up.

He kept his head down, his gaze glued to the steaming cup of milk in front of him. He could feel fine, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

"She... she practiced her new songs too late last night. She's feeling a little under the weather today, so I told her to sleep in and skip breakfast down here."

The excuse was so full of holes that even Aiden didn't believe it.

With Robin's self-discipline, how could she possibly miss a group breakfast just because she stayed up late?

But the naive Furina bought it.
