Deadpool was currently sitting on the floor of the booth, frantically making shadow puppets on the wall with a flashlight. He managed to make something that looked like a very deformed bunny before accidentally shining the light directly into his own eyes.
"GAH! My retinas! tum, I can see the future, and it looks like a giant floating taco!" Deadpool yelled, rubbing his mask. "But enough about my lunch. We're moving to Match 13! It's the battle of the teenage prodigies! The boy who was born to kill vs. the boy who was born to summon! It's Lightning vs. Shadows!"
The arena transformed into the Zen Garden of Infinite Reflection. The ground was covered in perfectly raked white sand, surrounded by dark koi ponds and ancient stone lanterns. The moon hung low, casting long, twisting shadows across the sand.
Heimdall stood on a wooden bridge, holding his horn. "Semi-Finals Match Thirteen! The lightning-fast heir of the Zoldyck family, Killua Zoldyck! Versus the user of the Ten Shadows Technique, Megumi Fushiguro!"
Speed vs. Strategy
Killua stepped onto the sand, his hands in his pockets. He looked relaxed, almost bored. "You look like you've got a lot on your mind, pal. Want to get this over with? I've got a chocolate robot waiting for me."
Megumi didn't smile. He adjusted his stance, his hands already forming a shadow sign. "I don't have time for jokes. If you're as fast as they say, I'll just have to give you more targets than you can hit."
Megumi clasped his hands. "With this treasure, I summon... Divine Dogs: Totality!"
Two massive, black-and-white wolves lunged out of the shadows. Killua didn't even move until they were inches away. In a flash of blue light, he vanished. He reappeared behind the wolves, his hand transformed into a razor-sharp claw. He swiped, but the wolves dissolved back into shadows before he could connect.
The Storm Breaks
"Deadpool here! Look at the sparky boy go, tum!" the merc shouted. "Killua is flipping the switch!"
Killua's hair began to glow with crackling white electricity. "Godspeed!"
He became a bolt of lightning. He moved so fast the raked sand didn't even shift as he ran across it. Megumi barely had time to react. He summoned Nue, the giant electricity-carrying bird, to intercept, but Killua simply absorbed the bird's lightning and moved even faster.
Megumi realized he was being boxed in. He slammed his hands onto the ground. "Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden!"
The entire Zen garden was swallowed by a sea of thick, bubbling black ink. Shadows rose like waves, forming clones of Megumi and his Shikigami. Killua was standing in the middle of a literal ocean of darkness.
The Final Strike
"You're fast, but you can't run when the floor is trying to eat you," Megumi's voice echoed from every direction.
Killua closed his eyes, sensing the electricity in the air. "Nice trick. But shadows can't move if there's no light to cast them."
Killua gathered every bit of his remaining aura into a single point. He leaped high into the air, his body glowing like a miniature star. "Thunderbolt!"
A massive pillar of blue lightning struck the center of the domain. The sheer intensity of the light was so blinding that the shadows for miles were instantly vaporized. The "Chimera Shadow Garden" shattered like glass.
Megumi fell to one knee, his cursed energy completely drained from the domain collapse. Killua landed softly in front of him, his hand pressed against Megumi's neck. His eyes were cold—the eyes of an assassin—but he didn't strike.
"You're good," Killua said, his hair fading back to silver. "But you're too slow for a Zoldyck."
"Match Thirteen winner... KILLUA ZOLDYCK!" Heimdall announced.
Up in the booth, Deadpool was trying to use a taser to charge his phone. "Shocking! Truly shocking! The lightning kid moves on, and Megumi goes back to the drawing board! That's thirteen down, tum!"
Deadpool looked at the next match and started sweating through his mask. "Uh oh. We're going from 'tactical' to 'absolute chaos.' We've got the King of Curses vs. the man who won't stay dead."
"Are you ready for Match 14: Ryomen Sukuna vs. Funny Valentine?"
