Chapter 101 - CHAPTER 101. Teacher X Student Complicated Emotions

Suddenly the door burst open with a loud *thud*.

Anirban Sir stormed inside like a hurricane.

Atreyee, Rupasi, and Tanushree trembled violently.

They didn't even dare meet his eyes.

Sir's eyes were bloodshot, chest heaving, rage and heartbreak barely contained.

Atreyee and the others stood rigid, shaking.

Medha slowly lifted her head.

There was a strange emptiness in her eyes—

as though everything had already ended, and there was nothing left to lose.

In that moment, two things were painfully clear in Sir's eyes:

boundless rage, and the anguished cry of a love burning inside him.

He almost roared—

"Medha! What have you done?!"

His voice shook the entire room.

No one dared breathe.

Atreyee, Rupasi, and Tanushree stood frozen.

Sir shouted again,

"You… you pushed Sneha off the hill?!"

Atreyee and the others shrank in fear.

Rupasi stammered in a trembling voice,

"Sir… we… we didn't—"

Anirban Sir's sharp gaze silenced them instantly.

"I didn't come here to listen to you."

The three of them stood like statues.

Sir's eyes now locked onto Medha.

Medha said very quietly,

"Yes, Sir…"

The single word "yes" ignited Anirban Sir.

He stepped forward and slapped her hard across the face, shouting,

"Have you lost your mind?!

How could you do something so monstrous?!"

Medha lost her balance from the slap and fell to the floor.

Atreyee, Tanushree, and Rupasi's knees buckled.

Anurag Sir rushed in from outside and grabbed Anirban Sir.

Anurag Sir:

"Hey! Have you gone mad?! You raised your hand on a student!"

Anirban Sir had never once struck any student in his life—this was the first time.

He was overwhelmed with rage and pain.

Medha lay on the floor, cheek stinging.

But the real pain was in her heart.

She was crying.

Anurag Sir held Anirban Sir back.

Anirban Sir roared again—

"Sneha could have died, Medha!

Do you hear me?

She could have died!"

His body shook.

It seemed his chest would burst from rage and sorrow.

Medha lay crying on the floor.

"You deliberately tried to kill your own cousin?

How could you, Medha?

You wanted to become a murderer?!"

Anirban Sir's voice cracked.

Rage mixed with heartbreak.

Medha said nothing.

Sir shouted again—

"How could you commit such madness?!

Speak, Medha!

Why are you silent?!"

Medha slowly raised her face.

The red mark of Sir's fingers stood out on her cheek.

Her eyes were red, tears streaming endlessly.

She cried out,

"Because… I loved you, Sir."

Anirban Sir let out a furious scream.

"Shut up!!"

Atreyee and the others trembled.

Medha sat shaking on the floor.

Anurag Sir held Anirban Sir tightly, trying to restrain his raging anger.

Anurag Sir said in a shaking voice,

"Calm down… calm down, Anirban. Let her go."

But Anirban Sir was beyond calming.

His chest heaved, eyes bloodshot, hands trembling.

He looked at Medha and shouted,

"In the name of love, you tried to kill a person?!

Is that love?!

That's sickness—madness—selfishness!"

His voice cracked as he spoke.

He was gasping. Yet he couldn't stop.

"I never thought of you that way!

Did I ever expect anything like this from you?

I thought you were a good girl, Medha… and today I feel disgust toward myself for ever loving you!"

The room fell deathly silent.

Everyone stood stunned.

Sir—saying this?

Confessing his love in front of everyone like this!

Atreyee, Rupasi, and Tanushree stared wide-eyed.

They finally understood—Sir truly loved Medha.

Medha could barely breathe.

Every word from Sir twisted her heart.

She realized—Sir wasn't just angry; he was speaking from deep emotion.

Anurag Sir stood shocked.

He had never known Anirban Sir loved Medha.

He felt careless—Anirban Sir , as a bestfriend, knew everything about his beloved girl, yet he had never understood Anirban Sir's feelings towards a girl.

Meanwhile, Anirban Sir burned with shame, rage, and pain.

His girlfriend had tried to kill the girl his best friend loved—all because of him.

What could be more humiliating, more painful?

Medha…

the girl he had fallen in love with,

the girl he had considered his entire world (he had no family of his own)…

she had done this—

something he could never have imagined.

Anirban Sir roared again—

"Why?! Why, Medha?!

Why did you come into my life and drag me into this nightmare?!

How could you be so foolish?!

How could you think I liked your cousin?!

How could you try to kill her?!"

Anurag Sir had once saved Anirban Sir's life in the past.

Now, because of him, the girl more precious than life to his best friend had nearly died.

The pain of learning about his beloved girl's brutality was unbearable.

The room grew suffocating.

Anirban Sir gasped again.

Tears shimmered in his eyes—

but he didn't wipe them.

His voice broke as he spoke—

"I only loved you…

And you… you couldn't even understand—

you sick girl…!"

With those final words, a tear slid down his cheek.

Atreyee and the others were dumbfounded.

For the first time, they saw Sir cry.

Anirban Sir said in a trembling voice—

"I thought you trusted me…

Was there not even that much faith?

Then what kind of love is this?!"

The room was deathly still.

Not even the sound of breathing.

Then, in a broken yet firm voice, he said—

"I will never forgive you, Medha.

From this moment, there is no feeling left for you in my heart.

From today onward, to me…

you are nothing."

Anirban Sir pushed Anurag Sir's hands away and stormed out of the room.

Anurag Sir hurried after him.

The room fell silent.

The sound of Anirban Sir's and Anurag Sir's footsteps faded into the distance.

For several seconds, no one moved.

Medha, still on the floor, tears streaming endlessly down her face.

She trembled, hands pressed to the ground.

She felt utterly helpless.

Because the man she had considered her entire world

had just disowned her.

Atreyee, Tanushree, and Rupasi looked at one another.

They had never imagined something like this would happen.

Suddenly—

Medha pressed both hands to the floor and stood up.

Her eyes were terrifyingly red, hair disheveled, the mark of Sir's fingers still burning on her cheek.

Without looking at them, she whispered,

"Everything is over… everything is finished…"

---

**Meanwhile**

Anirban Sir stormed into his room like a tempest, slamming the door so hard the entire corridor shook.

Anurag Sir came running behind him.

"Anirban!! Are you okay?"

Anirban Sir spoke in a broken voice—

"Anurag… I… I can't think.

I can't believe… Medha would do something like this!

Forgive me."

As he spoke, his voice grew heavy,

tears rolling down his cheeks.

Anurag Sir knew Anirban Sir had never truly been loved in his life.

He had grown up alone.

That's why he was so sensitive and emotional about love.

And now, because of him, the girl more precious than life to his best friend had nearly died.

He blamed himself too.

That's why the pain was so unbearable.

Anurag Sir stepped forward and hugged him.

"Calm down… what's done is done. Don't think about it anymore. I'm here.

Whatever happens, we'll face it together."

But Anirban Sir spoke like an innocent child, voice full of sorrow,

"I loved her, Anurag…"

He couldn't finish the sentence.

The words caught in his throat.

Anurag Sir stroked his shoulder and said,

"I know you loved her… Yes, the girl committed a terrible madness.

But don't worry. Everything will be alright."

Anirban Sir stepped back and said in an emotional voice,

"No, nothing will be alright.

If she could try to kill someone, she is capable of anything."

Anurag Sir said firmly,

"No, Anirban. Give her a chance.

You have to make her understand.

I know she will listen to you.

And isn't that a teacher's duty? To guide his student onto the right path?"

Anirban Sir looked at Anurag Sir.

Anurag Sir continued,

"Yes, I know you love her,

but you're not just her lover—you're her teacher!

It's your responsibility to bring her back to the right path."

Anirban Sir listened attentively to Anurag Sir's words.

Anurag Sir went on,

"So don't break down. Give her a chance."

Anirban Sir said very softly, in a broken voice,

"Did I hurt her with that slap?"

As soon as he said it, he himself trembled.

Something twisted painfully deep in his chest.

Anurag Sir said nothing.

"I hurt her…! I…!"

All his harshness melted away, leaving only deep remorse in Anirban Sir's heart.

Just then, hurried footsteps echoed from the corridor.

A girl came running and said breathlessly—

"Sir!… Medha… she's standing at the corner of the hotel rooftop!"

The words struck Anirban Sir like lightning.
