Kaiba snorted. "Hmph. Who do you think I am?"
He slammed down six Metal Stars. "I'm betting six."
"Hehehe—fine! I'll bet six too. Let's get on with it!" the Mimic cackled, placing his deck.
Kaiba's gaze sharpened. "Then I'll show you the power I've evolved into."
"Duel!"

Mimic's Turn: A Big Demon Board
"I'll take the first turn!" the Mimic declared. "Draw!"
Kisaragi thought: In canon he used Kaiba's deck against Yugi… what deck is he using now?
"I activate Graceful Charity—draw three, discard two!"
"Then I Normal Summon Demon Cavalry in Attack Position!"
A red-armored demon knight riding a skeletal horse burst onto the field.

"Now I activate the effect of Berserk Demon in my hand—by destroying up to two Fiend monsters I control, I can Special Summon it!"

Kisaragi answered, calm: "Not finished yet."
The Mimic grinned. "Right. You really are the woman Pegasus singled out."
He pointed at the graveyard.
"Now I activate Demon Cavalry's effect—if it's destroyed by an effect and sent to the Graveyard, I can target a different 'Demon' monster in my Graveyard and Special Summon it!"
"Come out—Demon Beast Spirit!"

Kaiba clicked his tongue. "So he used Graceful Charity to dump that monster into the Graveyard… then revived it via Demon Cavalry. Not bad. Pegasus's dogs aren't total amateurs."
"Hehehe. Keep acting tough—it won't save you. I set one card. Turn end."

Kaiba's Turn: The Engine Starts
In Pegasus's castle, Pegasus swirled his wine. "Kaiba-boy… show me your strength."
Kaiba drew. "My turn."
Kisaragi murmured, "Show them what you can do now, Kaiba…"
Kaiba played a Spell.
"I activate Melody of Awakening Dragon. I discard one card, then I add up to two Dragon monsters with 3000+ ATK and 2500 or less DEF from my Deck to my hand."
"I discard The White Stone of Legend—and add Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon!"
"And because White Stone of Legend hit the Graveyard, its effect activates: I add another Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my Deck to my hand!"
The Mimic's grin twitched.
Kaiba lifted a card slightly, letting it be seen.
"And now—Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon. By revealing Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand, I can Special Summon it!"
He slammed the card down.
"I'll use the soul of Blue-Eyes to guide a new servant—Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon!"
A white dragon surfaced—similar to Blue-Eyes, but traced with blue striping.
Joey gasped. "That's the 'Alternative' Kisaragi gave him!"
Yami Yugi's shadowy presence rose beside Yugi. "I can feel its power…"
Kaiba pointed straight at the Mimic's boss monster.
"Alternative's effect: it gives up attacking this turn—to destroy one monster you control."
"Go, Alternative! Burn Berserk Demon to ash—Burst Stream of Destruction!"
A white beam detonated the 3900-ATK fiend. It disintegrated.
Joey whistled. "That effect is insane…"
The Mimic forced a smile. "Nice. But I still have a monster on the field—and your Alternative can't attack this turn."
Kaiba's lip curled. "My turn isn't over."
Kaiba Converts Alternative into Triple Blue-Eyes
"I activate the effect of Sage with Eyes of Blue from my hand. I send it to the Graveyard, then target one effect monster I control—send it to the Graveyard—and Special Summon one Blue-Eyes monster from my Deck!"
"I send Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon to the Graveyard—then Special Summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

"Next, I Normal Summon Lord of D. …and activate The Flute of Summoning Dragon!"
The horn appeared before Lord of D., and its call echoed across the field.
"As long as Lord of D. is on my field, Flute lets me Special Summon two Dragon monsters from my hand!"
"Come forth—Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Then—
"Come forth again—Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Blue-Eyes White Dragon ×3 roared together, shaking the platform.
Joey stared. "He assembled THREE Blue-Eyes in one turn?!"
Yami Yugi looked to Kisaragi. "That's thanks to you, isn't it?"
Kisaragi shook her head. "I only gave him a few cards. The terrifying part is Kaiba—he's already piloting this upgraded Blue-Eyes deck like it's second nature."
The Mimic's Last Hope: Mirror Force… Denied
The Mimic's eyes narrowed, confidence returning in a flash: My set card is Mirror Force. If he attacks, I won't lose.
Kaiba raised his arm.
"Battle! Blue-Eyes White Dragons—attack! Burst Stream of Destruction!"
"Got you!" the Mimic screamed. "I activate Mirror Force! When you declare an attack, I destroy one of your attack position monsters!"
Kaiba laughed—cold and contemptuous.
"Fool. As long as Lord of D. is on the field, Dragon monsters on my field cannot be targeted by card effects."
"Your trap is worthless before Blue-Eyes."
The Mimic's face collapsed. "W-What?!"
"Disappear, filthy insect."
The triple dragons fired.
