While they were in car Brittany drives as if she's been casted in the latest fast and furious movies, just barely observing the traffic laws and speeding like there's no tomorrow.
Pyro
I don't think anyone's chasing us, you can slow down you know.
Brittany (turning the wheel)
Hell no, do you have any idea how fun this is, at this pace we'll reach home in no time.
Pyro
By the way, I thought Sara was gonna come to my rescue, what happened? Is she okay?
Brittany
Uh, yeah she just wasn't in the best state of mind at the time, actually none of us were, but since I'm in emergency situations, I was dispatched here.
Pyro
Well, I guess that's fine.
After around an hour they arrived at their house and when the gate was opened and the car was inside Pyro gets out of the car, Sara rushes and hugs him, crying tears of joy and Pyro notices the puffy red eyes and the mess the make up did for her face and Pyro became apologetic.
Pyro
I'm sorry Sara.
Sara
Don't apologize, I'm just happy you're safe.
She kisses him on the cheek and they head inside, a five year old boy named Jon runs towards him and Pyro picks him up and raises him in the air.
Jon
I saw in the TV, you were flying and beat up the bad guys, you were so cool.
Pyro
Yes I was, wasn't I.
He puts him down and he notices him admiring his suit.
Pyro (flexing)
You like it?
Jon
I want one too (jumping up and down excitedly) I wanna fly too.
Pyro (chuckles)
Maybe when you're older.
Jon starts pouting and folds his hands, pretty upset.
Jon
I wanna fly.
Sara comes in, carries him and twirls even the upset Jon couldn't stay upset anymore and starts laughing and giggling and puts him down
Pyro (to Sara)
You're spoiling him.
Sara (jokingly)
Nonsense, he wanted to fly, so he flew.
Pyro just laughs.
Pyro
Well, I need a shower so.
He leaves for the bathroom and Sara is with Brittany, Jon is watching TV.
Sara (serious)
I need to know.
Brittany explains everything from the arrest upto she took him out of the base.
Let's change the scenery a bit. Back at the school, when the dust settled and everyone collected their thoughts Mary and Tim were at the school grounds along with the rest of the students.
Mary
All this time, how did we never not notice?
Tim
It's actually pretty simple if you ask me.
Mary (confused)
Wait, you knew?
Tim
What?! No! I'm just saying that now that I've connected the dots, I feel stupid for not finding out sooner, you gotta give him props, he was basically hiding in plain sight.
Mary (still confused)
I don't get what you mean?
Tim
Of course you don't. Okay let's start at the beginning, when you first met him didn't he seem a little strange?
Mary
I mean he talked differently than the average pre-teen but that could've meant a lot of things like trying to be cool, or simply he was just a foreigner.
Tim
Correct! that was never enough evidence to conclude that he was an alien. But the biggest factor was the bus incident five years ago.
Mary
You mean the incident where we almost died (pauses) wait-- ( she starts to step back and smacks her palm on her forehead) you mean to tell me that Pyro saved us.
Tim
Ding ding ding!
Mary
That--that night while we talking about possible theories on what saved us, he mentioned something about aliens.
Tim
Correct again! He mainly said that so we would've been thrown off his scent (pause) and it worked we didn't suspect a thing. Hey! do you wanna know the final nail on the coffin.
Mary touches the bridge of her nose.
Mary
I'm not sure I want to.
Tim
I'm gonna tell you anyway, pyrokinesis is the ability to control fire, his name 'Pyro' was his biggest give away, (laughs) I bet you feel real dumb now.
Mary (Sarcastic)
Yeah, I feel like I grew a whole new head specifically for my stupidity.
Tim
Anyway, we gotta find him and talk to him. I got a bunch of questions I need to ask him.
Mary
Not possible, even if we wanted to, don't you think we would be followed by basically the entire school, I'm sure by now the teachers and students already deduced that we're friends with him, what's stopping them to follow us after school?
Tim
I guess we'll just have to wait.
The principal arrives and the chirpy live students simmer down as he addresses them.
Principal Wekesa
Due to the destruction of the classroom in form 3 west and possibly other areas, we have decided to close the school until further notice.
The students cheer and clap.
Wekesa
Enough, just so you know, we have already informed your parents of this situation, so just head straight home after this assembly.
The bell rings and the students packed their stuff and left the school cheering.
Back at the Maina house Sara almost slams the her fist at the table after getting the information Brittany gave her.
Sara
Dammit, you were right, I would've not handled the situation well if I went instead.
Brittany
Well, what are you gonna do now? you can't hide him anymore, sooner or later---
Sara
Yeah, yeah I know (her phone pings and she checks on it) well the good news is school's closed for construction.
Brittany
You know obviously it's a partially true, it's the government trying to investigate matter.
Sara
I know (exhales) just let me breathe for a minute.
Brittany packs her things.
Brittany
Well, call me if you need anything.
The next morning Sara was preparing Jon for school.
Jon
It's not fair. Why does Pyro not have to go to school.
Sara (packing backpack)
Because your big brother's school is blown up and it needs to be fixed.
Jon still pouts
Jon
It's still not fair.
Pyro enters the fray.
Pyro
Sara, why don't you let me take him to school today?
Sara
What?! No, it's bad enough your powers and identity is known to the public, now you want Jon in this too.
Pyro
People are gonna find out sooner or later, I can't stay couped up here forever.
Sara
Your also not old enough to drive how would you get there?
Pyro
I'll fly there, maybe telerport
Jon jumps up and down with excitement.
Jon
Flying! Flying! I choose flying.
Pyro
Then we'll fly there.
Sara
No, No, out of the question.
Pyro
I'll be careful I promise.
Jon (pleading)
Please! Please! mommy!
Sara raises her hands in defeat.
Sara
Fine, fine, just be careful, alright.
Pyro (smiles)

He carries Jon and they fly away, in the sky Jon is in awe of the cars below them almost looking like ants
Jon (excited)
Higher! Higher!
Pyro
Sorry, little man this is as high as we can go for now.
Shortly they arrive at his school and puts him down gently and fixes his shaggy hair.
Jon (still excited)
Will you pick me up after school?
Pyro
Sara's gonna pick you up.
He pouts and crosses his arms with an additional stomping of his feet. Pyro just smiles and hugs him.
Pyro
As long as I'm free from school, I'll always fly you here okay?
Jon's defenses crumble down and hugs him back.
Jon
Okay.
Unfortunately for them there was a crowd forming recording and taking pictures of them.
Pyro
I gotta go before more people show up.
(To Jon) have a good day at school alright.
Bye
Jon (waves at him)
Bye Pyro.
Suddenly a van speeds past them followed by multiple police vehicles. Pyro flies infront of the van and gently touches the hood causing it to stop, and the police cars surround the van, the crooks inside were arrested. One of the police officers goes to him.
Officer
I appreciate the help, son.
Pyro
Do you mind telling me what's going on?
Officer
There was a bank robbery near here, one of our units is still at the site the robbers split into two groups. It's a hostage situation.
Pyro (serious)
I'm on my way.
He flies towards the danger, a minute later he's at the scene of the crime, he activates his bracers and the fire from his hands and engulfs his entire body and when it dies down he's in his superhero suit, the scene is full of police officers and cruisers, he heads to one of officers.
Pyro
I need a status report.
The officer looks at him in utter disbelief before regaining his composure.
Officer
Look here, we don't answer to you. I have my orders.
All of a sudden the Police chief comes at his way.
Police chief
Look here sonny, this isn't a game, I have people's lives at stake here.
Pyro
Judging from the situation, you are not in control, you just a unit after the escapees and the remaining is still in the bank.
Police chief
Meaning?
Pyro
Your squad was unable to catch the convicts without my help and right now one of your officers seems to be talking to the remaining convicts meaning they want something from you. But that's a lie they're stalling so their friends come back to save them there must be a secret passage at the bank we need to stop them before they find it.
Police chief
Assuming your theory is correct even if the first group is caught what's stopping them from killing the hostages if they find out there no means of escape.
Pyro
I can teleport inside and subdue them before it's too late
Officer (to the chief)
Sir, obviously your thinking of sending him inside are you?
Police (chief to Pyro)
Are you sure you can subdue them before they can escape and murder the hostages.
Pyro
100%.
Police chief (exhales)
Go, hurry.
Pyro disappears and teleports inside the bank, in the scene the hostages were tied up and on the floor the goons wore fully black jumpers and had machine guns on their waists ready to fire at any time.
Goon 1
What the hell is taking so long?
Goon 2
They were being chased by cops it's obvious they got caught. We need to move with Plan B the secret passage. I can't keep stalling the cops for long
Goon 3
Agreed, we need to move out now. Let's kill the hostages, no witnesses.
Goon 4
Hold it dumbass, if even a gunshot is heard the cops are gonna assume we're killing them all and they're gonna storm here.
Goon 3
We'll be long gone by then.
Goon 1
Enough! We already have what we need let's get out of here now!
Pyro suddenly appears in front of them and walks slowly towards them but the goons point their guns at him
Goon 1
Hey! hey! Don't try to be a hero kid. Who's the dumbass that didn't tie the kid up.
Goon 4
Hold on boss isn't that the kid on the news lately, the superpowered brat who shoots fire and shit.
Goon 1
Don't be stupid, that's just A.I. and shit, watch. (To Pyro) I warned you kid, now die
Pyro
I obviously won't.
He shoots at Pyro in the chest and unfortunately for him the bullet bounces off his chest not even leaving a scratch leaving the goons in shock and disbelief.
Goon 1
What the hell?!
One of the goons tries to go for the hostages but he teleports in front of him and punches him square in the guts sending him flying and his back met with a pillar and falls unconscious.
Goon 1
Aim for the hostages! Shoot to kill!
The remaining three empty their magazines on Pyro and the hostages, unfortunately they couldn't see what he was doing, he was moving so fast that even afterimages Couldn't be seen with the naked, using his overclock ability he catches the bullets before hitting the targets and walks slowly towards the goons, when the guns were finally empty he lines up every bullet the goons shot in front of them basically telling them ' I can take you down any time I want I'm just choosing not to'
It seems they got the memo because they surrendered right then and there while cops rushed into the building and arrested them by that time Pyro was helping the hostages by untying them and those with grave injures were flown to the hospital.
By the time the dust settled it was already evening he goes to the police chief.
Pyro
I'm pretty sure, you can take care of things here.
Police chief
I understand you need to leave, I want to thank you for your service
Pyro (smiles)
It was the right thing to do.
Pyro flies back to his house at supersonic speed knowing his very late and calls of his super suit and enters the house.
Pyro
Hey Sara, sorry I'm late, you wouldn't believe what I had to---
When he's in the living room he finds Sara, Mary and Tim on the couch as if they've been waiting for him for a while.
Pyro
Uh, what's going on right now?
Sara gets her stuff
Sara
I'm going to pick up Jon, looks like you guys need to have a talk, I'll be back a little later.
She leaves the awkward teens to deal with their drama.
